I was bored and depressed! Thirty-eight years old, single, with a great job and I'm lonely. My friends are all married. I was burnt out on the dating scene. Sure there's been women in my life but none of them ever lasted. A female friend (I've lots of them) told me I had an intimacy problem and needed therapy. Abel 2 Sex Counseling proved to be the right antidote to what was ailing me. Once I confronted my fears, I could take a risk on a relationship. P.S. Cynthia and I are getting engaged next month.

It's the only one of its kind, in NYC, but apparently it gets really bad reviews. They say the doctor really just takes money from patients and the sex takes forever to happen, usually towards the end so another round of 5-10 sessions will be bought.

I loved the movie Sessions with Helen Hunt, she played Cheryl Cohen-Greene, a real sex surrogate. No joke, I'd love to do something like that. I started with downloading a few sex therapy books. I love what I do now professionally, but getting to do this would be the ultimate "it's not work".
