I'm just curious.  Yesterday afternoon I'm hanging out with a friend and we were talking about some of the girls that she thinks are attractive and I thought a few of them were a bit too voluptuous for my taste right now.  I didn't disagree that they had beautiful faces, great skin, were amazing performers and had exceptional personalities, it's just that they all happened to weigh considerably more than I do.  With rare exception, I haven't seen ladies that are obviously bigger than me (no I don't have a weigh in, but anyone with functioning retinas can approximate within 10-15 pounds).  Maybe I've missed out, but  I'm OK with that risk for now. Historically if she looked like she might be much heavier than that I'd keep looking.  (The BBW lovers can feel free to 'weigh in' now with their opinions)  

What's ironic is that over the past three years, the benchmark weight has decreased, because my weight has decreased, so three years ago before I started writing reviews I would have seen one or more of these ladies and in a many cases I did see them (Sherlock you can pack up the magnifying glass because you won't be able to tell who I'm speaking about by clicking on my reviews).  However in the past three years, I've lost over 60 lbs and what used to be smaller than me became bigger than me.  I kept up with a few of them for a while, but as the pounds shed, I became far more comfortable with smaller girls and now the ladies my friend were describing would likely no longer be considered when I'm looking for a companion.

Her point was that they hadn't changed, and were still just as awesome as I thought they were back then. She thought I was being a little hypocritical because before I used to enjoy them, but now I was slimming down my selection.   My point was that my criteria hadn't changed and that I was being consistent.   Well I soon lost interest in the conversation when she took off her dress (see the shallow comment below), but later last night I got to thinking about this again.  We all have preferences, some of the guys like the talkers, others like mature ladies, still others like tall, short, BBWs or the ladies that really need to eat a sandwich.  Some of the guys even like ladies with dicks.

I don't have a problem admitting I'm shallow, especially in this hobby because I am (and I'm not alone Mr. White Knight...you just happen to be a little less obvious about it).  This is a recreational sport and I specifically choose to spend time with certain folks, and don't choose to spend time with others based upon both objective and subjective criteria.  One of those criteria happens to be girth, and that criteria has changed over time because my girth has changed over time.  So does that make me a hypocrite as well? or am I just shallow?

Or at least most of us here are. While there are a few on here who claim to like all types of women, most of us have a "type." I'll admit I am shallow but so what? I'ts how I am wired. I find certain body types and features attractive and others not so much. I probably won't see someone over 140. lbs. And thats height related too. 5-8 and 140 is ok and 5-2 and 140 is not!
I don't see myself changing my preferences if I changed though. If I lost a lot of weight, and was close to 140 myself I still would probably have the same preference. If I gained a lit of weight and was 300 or 400 pounds, I still would have the same preferences in ladies sizes. I am the same way with age. I have an age I like, and it has never changed with my age. So call me shallow, but I don't think I am a hypocrite.

Some of us get paid very well to be in the company of men we would not even look at. Some of us get paid very well to sleep with men we would not ever sleep with. Some of us get paid very well to perform certain acts we'd prefer not to do (but it's expected). We are paid to like  it etc. etc. etc. PAID is the optimal word.

You are paying, therefore you get to choose who you want and for whatever reason.

I would say no.  If you liked hot dogs with grape jelly when you were 5 years old, and when you were 40 you decided that was gross--does than make you a hypocrite?  I don't think so.  Tastes and preferences change.  No big deal.

If there is a lady who you saw and said was good when you saw her, and now that you have lost weight you reroactively say "I didn't really like her when I saw her", that might border of hypocritical.  But to say, "I wouldn't see her now because my tastes have changed", I personally see nothing wrong with that.

If I've always owned blue cars and decided I want a red one now that doesn't make me shallow at all. I'm paying for what I want. Now if someone were to GIVE you a blue car and you turned it down because of the color, then yes, maybe a little shallow.

... if there was some sort of chemistry between the hobbyist and the provider? Would that make the overall experience more sensual instead being somewhat "robotic"?

Now, I am not talking about the kind of chemistry that would make both "fall madly in love and can't stay away from each other". I am referring to more of a sensual type of chemistry that makes it all worthwhile.

Yes, I am paying the provider to provide me a service, but I have found that when the chemistry is good, then the whole session goes great.

If you like the thin model type looking ladies that doesn't make you shallow. I like porn star experiences so i look for ladies with menus that fit into what i like! I prefer the curvy chicks (145 lbs to 170 lbs) more when it's really cold

In business there's a saying the customer is always right. So whatever provider you choose you've made the right choice.

It makes you a guy who pays for sex. That's all.  It's your money.  You have a right to spend it on whatever type of woman you like.

Or perhaps I missed all your posts a week and a half ago chastising board posters and  expressing outrage when Sandy ripped through Haiti wiping out the nation’s food supply and creating far worse devastation to an already devastated area.  Like most folks in the states, it’s not really news to you until it hits in your back yard.  I don’t mind you taking exception to my banal observation on a fairly slow day on the boards, but if you’re going to be the board moral officer, perhaps you should consider executing you duties in a more consistent manner.

As for my ‘essay’ , when you write in complete sentences and spell out words fully, you tend to take up a bit more space on the page.  I’ve got no problem with your Ebonic/text speak style of writing, but it usually takes me as long to digest your two sentence  literary style as it does to read a decently constructed and grammatically correct paragraph or two.
