Question is - if you're paying a provider $300, $400, $500 per hour -
do you absolutely expect to see a face picture?

Sorry, but for a lot of ladies at all price points, there are darned good reasons why there are no face pics and that's fine.

What I DO expect, when someone's minimum booking price is substantively above the average for the area (the average for my area is $300), is the woman to seriously kick ass.

Actually, I also expect that if their price is below the average or at the average.

I have high expectations of any professional who charges more than my doctor or lawyer; and appropriately so.

show their face or blur it.  I can respect the choice a lady makes in this area.  Most of these ladies will take partial pics of their eyes and/or lips, etc. and use those so you get a good idea of what to expect.  Does the lady of your choice get to see a pic of you before you meet her?

Another option is to attend a M & G so you can see the ladies firsthand.  They can't photoshop a live appearance.

That said, SOME ladies have private galleries for PRESCREENED clients.

That being said, it takes a pretty compelling ad and unreal pictures of the rest of the body before I would ever consider seeing someone that didn't post a fairly viewable facial pic.  Even with a couple decent TER reviews, there is just such individual variability in the assessment of beauty.  I have a couple on my favorite/to-do list that have no facial pic but a large number of high TER reviews.  Even so, for the same reason, I'd generally tend more to going with a provider where the chance of surprise is less.

unless i have some idea of what her face looks like.  i'm not saying she can't have her face blurred but if i can get some semblance of her face than i will consider seeing her.  there is one girl from an agency that has a picture of her standing with her back towards the camera.  no matter how good her reviews are i will not see her because her face is completely hidden.  just my .02.

I tend to strongly concur with this statement. When I started out about a year ago (sorry, I do not write reviews under this handle), I was compelled (due to lack of solid references) to see some providers who had either blurred their visage or were using "similar" and "alike" photos (basically fake). In some cases, I should have simply walked away after meeting them and in some cases, they should have paid me Nevertheless, it is now water under the bridge and all chalked up to experience. I do not take TER scoring (or other sites' scoring for that matter) as a word of gospel and if a provider hides her face, I put that provider on the bottom of the "to see" totem pole.

Reviews are pointless except to give you some idea of what kind of service to expect. Most guys that review girls don't seem to have the same standards I do. To be honest, most of the girls I've seen have an average face and I wouldn't look at them twice if I passed them on the street. That includes providers that say they're former models and that reviewers claim to be drop dead gorgeous. Maybe it's because most hobbyists are older than me and the age difference makes them look at the girls differently.

Agree.  I personally gravitate to the ads that show face, and quote height and weight.  Price is not the primary issue.  I would wish more would show thier faces in the ads or at least respond to an email request for a face photo.

Thank you.  Your agency has the type of info I, and I suspect many others, want.  Face photo, height, weight, price.  (Now if only you were in SF or LA.)  The flowery prose that dominates most ads is just fluff IMO.  The offer of forwarding a face photo is also spot on.  (And no, I have no connection to this agency)

I don't think rates has anything to do with if a lady shows her face or not.For privacy reasons I will not show a full face picture,but I have cropped pics and IMO show enough of my face for a gentleman to get an idea.I also have blurred pics as well but just because a lady shows her face does not mean that she is worth her rate.That is what reviews,ads,website,etc. are for to get a sense of a lady and after viewing all of this if there is still some doubt ask some of the hobbyist that have seen her in the past.Every lady does what is comfortabe for herself,but just because myself or others do not show a full face pic and have certain rates does not entitle one to receiving a face picture.I have had gentleman request a face pic even after screening how does a lady know that picture will be kept private?You really don't have a guarantee.

Answer me this would you be amenable to posting your face on a monger website for LE and your family and employer to see if they decided to do a little browsing. This question has nothing to do with value for money but everything to do with the destruction of your life outside the hobby. That is why the majority of the ladies who hide their facial identity do this.

Some guys will never understand this element and that's OK..there are plenty of women who will show their face even after screening. Those are the ones you should see if facial recognition is that important to you.

What if some escort found a site that posted face pics of mongers online under the url www.menwhoseeescorts.com...not an unreasonable search query hidden inside an url, and your face popped up for anyone to see?

But you're right -- he *could* be undertaking an approach similar  to yours. I do something similar in some realms -- deliberately leading people to underestimate me by playing to stereotypes.

Not only do I prefer not to be recognized on the street from an ad site but once a pic is out of my hands, I have lost what little control I may have had over it's dissemination entirely.  Not a comforting thought....

Additionally, I have somewhat unique features and have been stopped on the street by random people I met in a socially passing manner YEARS prior because they recognized me (and of course, I am always clueless as to who they are, another uncomfortable thing).  Valets, waiters and desk clerks in locations I've visited only once in the last year have recognized me and welcomed me back citing the approximate time I was last in their establishment (I understand this is good customer service but serves to illustrate the 'recognizability' issue).  

There is simply too much to risk by showing my face for both myself and the gentleman I am with.

People blur there face almost exclusively to keep their identity hidden.  They realize they may miss some opportunities as there are many who won't take that chance and that's the price THEY pay.  I know several that will send a face pic after screening but even then, the fear of the hobbyist publishing the pic is too much for some to risk.  The rate and the menu don't have anything to do with the pictures.
