I recently had a conversation with a provider, who admitted she had had her photos touched up. She said she would prefer to put them up as is, but felt she had to get them touched up, because all the other ladies do.

Thus my question is would you rather see touched up professional photos, or can you give a lady some credit for show unaltered photos, even if they point out some flaws?

Given the fact that my date is going to be with the unvarnished version of the lady, that's what I want to see in the website. The best rendevous I've experienced were with ladies who looked exactly like their pics. Deception will not get repeat clients.

If I happen to get a pimple before the photo shoot, knowing it's not going to be there in a couple days, I would not feel bad about taking care of that.  I think it's when you make 'things' bigger, smaller, rounder, smoother or just plain different that it gets sticky.

Has anyone ever seen photos of a girl that they couldn't match up to the real person for all the Photoshopping and airbrushing?  Or is it usually skewed photos or fake photos that are the problem in these cases?

However, if anyone would like to help me connect the dots so my skin is perfectly smooth, by all means call me. Wink!

I met a lady that was so altered that I almost thought it was an agency swap-out.  There were a couple identifying marks that let me know she was the person in the photo, but there was a lot of touch up done.

I guess I am fortunate. As I started hobbying, I saw only the Ladies at TVI Girls & Private Connection and those ladies looked like their pictures. I soon ventured out and saw one lady (whose was not with one of the agencies and before I found TER) whose photo was very different (ie 15 years younger or something).

She didn't look like the same person. However, she was very pleasant and the time together was a nice experience. I still chose not see her again because I felt somewhat duped.

Once walked after getting to the door and finding someone who I thought was a bait-and-switcher. She called as I was driving and insisted that it was her in the photos but "I just had them touched up like everybody does." I kept going anyway. Of course, I also got to the door on another occasion and found the un-retouched thing more interesting than the photo.

when I met them.  In those cases, some professional help is in order for their own sake.  Doctoring a photo to change how you look is obviously bogus, but I can't say I've ever felt hoodwinked by that.

....exaggerated beyond belief or to the extent that they are no longer a fair representation of the person is out of line-- but I personally like mine made a little blurry, for that old school filtered look, but then again I just like the look of old pictures...

I am also for the removal of all blemishes that aren't permanent... but anything beyond that, there is no need for...

Aggressive marketing in a competitive industry, or truth in advertising?

Minor enhancements like you described seem perfectly OK in my book, but when Photoshop (or any other method)is used to really alter the appearance of a person, that's unacceptable to me.  I prefer the pictures to be natural and unaltered, but removing temporary blemishes and things of that nature is fine.

we all know who it is. You would of thunk he would come up with another alias: HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo.. maybe we should name him Mr. Blankman, for something tells me that is what is shooting: BLANKS (with that little nub of his)  ;)
