how they get away with "profanity" on Vanity plates...

This hotdog car sure knows how to cause a traffic jam.  No kidding this mobile was actually traveling in the Raleigh/Durham area on I-40 running about 40 mph on a 65mph highway.  I'm surprised it didn't cause an accident with all the people slowing down to take a picture of it :)   It may have even gotten more attention than a man might get walking nude along the highway with his hotdog swinging side to side.

Hahah... only in New York!  

I am sure it depends on where you live and what you state's tolerance level is. I imagine that in Iowa this wouldn't fly, but in NY and Cali this isn't worth a second look.
