I have had this happen twice with two touring providers (who are both from the same city). I don’t understand the logic of it.

I contact the providers , fill out their online forms and go through screening, sending them a reference and description of myself.

We set up a meeting.

On the date of the meeting I get a text to go to a gas station. They give me the specific address. They tell me to text when I arrive at the gas station.

I arrive there and park and text them.

Five to 10 minutes go by and they text me back telling me what hotel they are at, one very close by.

Why? What’s the purpose of having me go somewhere else beforehand? Do they have spies watching the cars go in the gas stations to verify I’m not LE?

The weird thing is, I’ve seen both of these women twice. You would think the second time I scheduled with them, as a returning client, they would know 100 percent who I was without doing this cloak-and-dagger stuff. But no, I had to do the same thing the second time I was with them!

Sometimes, there is comfort in following a "successful" routine.  It might not make sense, but it is comforting to eliminate as many variables as possible by some constants. "I don't want him to be too early." "I don't want him hanging around the lobby, attracting attention." "Sometimes -- but not always -- I oversleep my nap and I need 10 minutes to get back on schedule. Sticking to the old "gas station" routine gives me the time, if needed."

Does the gas station have a mini-mart? Maybe she's working up to a bigger ask: "You're at the gas station now? Great! Bring me a Moon Pie and a Mountain Dew. See you in 10 minutes."

It might stress her out, but you could try something like, "I'm running a few minutes late today. Can I skip the gas station and go straight to your hotel? Which one?"  

I thought of a serious problem this could create. What if the gas station the provider has me go to is robbed later on?

Their security cameras have me pulling into their parking lot and just sitting there doing nothing for a few minutes except texting on my phone.

The security camera has picked up my license plate number.

The police contact me and show me the security video and ask, “Why were you parked at this gas station? Were you casing the place? It was robbed later on that evening. Who were you texting?”

What do I say? “ I was texting an escort?”

Wrong answer.

nearby until she is completely ready to receive you.  The customer before you may have stayed overtime, or she is late getting ready, so she wants you close where she can bring you the rest of the way within 5-10 minutes once she is ready.  Likewise, some guys are traveling 45 minutes or more to see her, and if there is no traffic and they arrive 10 or 15 minutes early.  Providers hate early arrivals, and this gives her control to make sure you are not knocking on the door early before she is ready.  This is a pretty common tactic to make sure everything goes smoothly and she can give you the best possible experience from start to finish.  It has nothing to do with LE.  No spies, no conspiracy, and nothing suspicious.  Just relax and go when she tells you.

for lunch and were concerned about being on the road when diarrhea struck, so you parked at the gas station while your stomach calmed down in case you needed a restroom on short notice.  You are under no obligation to volunteer that you were waiting for the go-ahead to see a sex worker.  Self-incrimination is never a good option.  

What if you were parked in the complex parking lot, their security camera picks you up sitting in the car texting and someone gets robbed or a unit is broken into or someone sets the whole place on fire?

 
BUT, if you ever do find yourself in one of these odd, low probability events then please pay attention to Mr. Fishers advice.

But not unheard of.  Over the decades of playing, I’ve had some women who send me to the building next door, to a corner that they could see from their apartment, to a semi-public place where they could scope me out, etc.  Not all of it seemed to make sense, but I also wonder whether someone had advised them that LE and/or haters would be less willing to follow a long list of instructions and/or be patient.

The most unusual first meeting I had was with a chick who said to park in a particular spot. She would drive up next to you and then you would follow her to her apartment building. After parking you walk into the building together. She was great though, do no complaint.

I don't mind jumping thru a hoop or two but that's going to far, hard pass from me
