fallen for a provider. boo-hoo hoo... It's actually a long story that spans about 2 years, but, in anycase, how much of a nono is this and how often do providers see this happening?

This subject keeps coming up.  There are many threads on this board and on the LA board that relate to this issue.  Do a search on "falling in love" or "fall in love" and you will find lots of valuable lessons.  Bottom line, IMHO, please don't fall for a provider.

There's nothing wrong with falling for a provider if she might be interested. Open ended questions are fun to toy with. Fall for an hour or two and keep the dream alive. Some things are better taken to the limit and some best kept in fantasyland once a month or so. The question is: but can you live with her? and do you want to share your Oreos?

guys on TER have seriously dated an escort or dancer as a GF.  Like you said, if you do the search there are some very good experiences you can read about and decide for yourself.

The recent thread on the LA board is only about a week old and was titled something like "I crossed the line now what?"

BTW, I must be an underachiever because it always took me a lot more than two visits (maybe more like ten?) for this subject to ever be an issue.  I think most of the ladies  are very cautious in this regard, and guys should be too.  It takes a special type of personality and maturity to make this type of relationship work- even then there will be challenges that will test you.  No relationship is easy, but this type presents many unique situations that can be especially difficult for some guys to deal with.
