You might be lucky or you might her next Tim, that's short for ATM.  Proceed with reckless abandon, but know your limits.

I saw a provider the other day for the first time.  The session went well and we both really enjoyed it.  So at the end of it as I was getting ready to leave she said that she would like to see me again for a reduced price and I said that would be great.

A couple minutes later I mentioned a place that I frequent often and that I was going there tonight.  She said she would love to go sometime, so I suggested that we do an outcall and she could accompany me next time.  She then said she would just charge me for an hour and after our date spend the night in my hotel room.

I know that most providers charge a much larger rate for an overnight.  This is why this date seems very odd to me.  I want some people's opinions on whether this would be crossing the line that providers and hobbyists should not cross.

Many providers ask me if I'm single or married.  If I'm single, chances are they would like to do something off the clock, knowing I have the means to support them. I think some of them are open to developing a relationship beyond P4P.

I paid a provider for an hour and ended up staying with her for 3 hours and would have spent the night with her if I was single.

Another provider told me she'd like to hang out with me the entire afternoon, knowing I only booked her for 1 hour.  I did take her to lunch and would have taken her to a lingerie shop if I had the time (she wanted me to buy her a sexy lingerie for me), but I had to go back to work later that afternoon.

if i were to offer to share "off the clock" time with a client -- and i sometimes do (though never of a sexual nature; there are some boundaries that i simply will not cross) -- it would simply be because he has traits i admire and he is someone i could easily see myself sharing my time with in a civilian setting.  so -- he must make me laugh, or share a great number of my core values, or impress me in some way, or something about him must soak my brain in happy drugs.  this sort of offer says "i'm fond of you and i like spending time with you"... nothing more.

actually, there have been three occasions where i have had to end the companion/client facet of a relationship (they fell in love, and at that point i just felt as if i was exploiting a weakness), but i cared so much about the client in question that i kept them in my life as a friend.  i am proud and lucky that i am still able to call these people my friends.

as i said, though, i speak only for myself.  it depends on what she wants from you.  it would seem that she doesn't want money.  if she wants a commitment, and you are already committed, or you're simply not interested in dating, i'd make it clear to her -- painfully clear to her, if necessary -- that while you enjoy her company and appreciate her generous offer, you will NOT be leaving your SO.  it's entirely possible though, that she just plain likes you, being with you makes her happy, and she is happy to enjoy your company without any strings.

my suggestion, ultimately?  talk to HER about it.  she is the only one who can tell you whether or not she is crossing a line you're not comfortable crossing, and the two of you are the only ones who can decide where the line even exists.  it may not be an easy conversation to initiate; but once you leap over the initial hurdle of starting it, it may well go much better than you could dare to hope.

I've had some wonderful experiences OTC with a few providers.  As you say, often it's lead to some very good friendships that endure.

She suggested it to you, not the other way around so it seems that she genuinely enjoys your company.

Several years ago I was visiting a lady who had previously mentioned that she loved sushi. As I was getting dressed to leave I recommended a good sushi place that was located a block or two from her hotel since I assumed that she would be looking for a place to eat later that night. Without blinking an eye she asked me if I would like to accompany her there since I was her last appointment for the day.  That was five years ago.  She is now my ATF. Our two hour bookings typically last five to seven hours including lunch or dinner and hours of talk time.  We have even done weekends where I paid her for the same two hour appointment for each day of the trip.

The thing to remember is that this sort of thing is the exception, not the rule.  Despite all of the warnings that get written on this site about respecting a ladies time and not going "over the line" the simple and undeniable fact is that wea re all people here and sometimes two people just plain hit it off. Enjoy the ride!

If so, or you dress and drive ostentatiously, then beware! Well, beware even if you don't, but particularly if you do. Still, off the clock time can prove to be nice if you don't try to push it any further than what she feels comfortable with.

this to the hobby, time off the clock is good as long as you can maintain your boundaries.

In the past I have had providers meet me for drinks (no date scheduled) which ended up with a nice dinner and then a romp back at my hotel.  The one lady was having SO problems and I was her refuge from him for the evening.  We have seen each other in a business sense since that time.

I had a 2-hr. date scheduled with another lady and she asked me to stay the night.  When I said I didn't have any extra cash along, she replied, "we can work it out tomorrow".  Needless to say I declined since I didn't need a large withdrawl on my bank account that would be hard to explain.

"I didn't need a large withdrawl on my bank account that would be hard to explain."

I got myself into that position, too, which is why I set up a separate hobby account I can fund from an investment my wife can't "see."

I am currently spending a lot of time with an escort off the clock. We enjoy each others company. We do not have sex. We have talked about it, but now that we are friends it has become totally different. If we ever do have sex again, it will not be with her as an escort. So, I have lost one of my favorite escorts but gained a good friend. I am happy with that.
Its been kind of odd getting to know her family and everything, but she has become a very good friend. It is kind of nice to have a person I can talk to about the hobby and anything else. There is no money exchanged anymore. When we go out, we take turns paying. I can get sex from many different people, but I feel I get something much more valuable now.
Anyway, that is my experience and so far it has been a good one. But it is kind of weird still.

I actually have "secret girlfriend" who I met whilst she was working as a provider.   I had been a regular, and we had a certain chemistry so I asked if she's like to see me outside of the working arrangement, and she was game for that.  The first time we went out, we had a terrific time and she ended up staying the night.  Now it's a regular thing.  We've gone out as a civvie couple, we've hung out with my civvie friends, so that was trippy since my hobby life is of course very much a secret to my civvie friends.   Living on the edge.

What's amazing is that she knows me as a hobbyist, and she's never asked me to STOP being a hobbyist, and there's no jealousy there.  We have been seeing each other for quite a while (and all during this time, she had been working as a provider) and just recently she's decided to get out.  She's trying to go legit so she's starting up a business. So I don't know what that means for our unique relationship's future.  Just sharing my experience, it is a nebulous thing, and I've definitely "crossed the line" as far as a "normal" hobbyist/provider interaction.  But it's been great for me.  I get to have my cake and eat it too, knock on wood.

There is absolutely no reason why one cannot separate the professional relationship from  friendship.  We do this all the time in our civilian lives, so there is no reason why we cannot also do it in the hobby.  The only issue is that both parties need to respect the appropriate boundaries.  We become friends with our doctors, lawyers and accountants all the time, but it would be pushing boundaries to expect our friends to perform their professional services for us free, just because they are our friends.  Likewise, it would be professionally improper for our friend the lawyer or the accountant, who also performs professional services for us, to request a loan; indeed that is the source of many disciplinary complaints against lawyers  and accountants.  So enjoy the off the clock friendship, just make sure that you respect her boundaries and expect her to respect yours.

In regards to some of the posts so far I will be a little more specific about the situation.

First off I don't have a SO.  I didn't tell her this but she has probably assumed I don't because I am fairly young for a hobbyist (mid-twenties). The thing that has me most worried is that she probably also assumes I have a lot of money compared to her typical clients because of my profession.

Another factor worth noting is that there is a significant age gap between us.  I don't know her age but I am guessing she is anywhere between mid-thirties to early-forties.

From what some of you have said so far it seems like the only way I can find out what her intentions are is to talk to her about it and get a feel for the situation when or if we ever end up spending time together.  Thanks for all the comments so far, they have been very helpful.

Let me ask this. What would you do if you had a civvie date, and during dinner the girl said she loves you, wants to marry you and have your babies?

This is the same thing. Proceed, but with extreme caution. DO NOT share any personal info...

But it's old if that helps.  My fancy car is dirty too.  I've spent tons of time off the clock with providers that I've become friends with.  I honestly don't recommend it unless you're looking for mostly unstable friends.  Two ladies have pretty much told me that the meter will never run again but I don't feel comfortable taking advantage of them by calling every week to give a sample.  Another lady has become a very dear friend but the boundary issue is messing with my head.  More than anything, I spend way too much time with a lady getting a peek behind the curtain and frankly I'm not thrilled with what I see.  Let's just say that the illusion is very often just that.

Oh, and I don't lend money or do anything that I don't want to.  That doesn't mean that I don't do favors for some of them, but they do them for me as well.  Ya know, like friends do.
