Not trying to be a smart ass or anything...the "D" in ED stands for dysfunction. As in "not normal".
I am also in my late 30s and I am constantly horny (high libido). If I wanted...I could rub it out 4-5 times daily.
Also...libido (sex drive) and ED are two distinct things. You can have a perfectly functional Ferrari in your garage but no desire to drive it (low libido). Or, you can have desire to drive it but the car doesn't work (ED). Or, you can have both.
Were I you, I'd visit my doctor. Your symptoms would not be 'normal' for me. I also wouldn't trust the home chemistry set for the Low T test.
That, and a google search can yield some fairly good info:

I am confused whether my ED is just part of my aging or symptoms of something more serious? I realize this is subjective, because no matter how I describe my symptoms, they can be interpreted widely.. If you don't want to read the rest of my post, my question is it normal for someone in late 30's to be horny just 25% as often as you were in your peak ( say age 22)?
Essentially I feel I am only really horny once every two weeks. I can rub one out every other day or so, but that takes some effort. Until my early 30's, I would get horny every 2-3 days and had no problem rubbing one out every night. But in the past 1-2 years, things have taken quite a nosedive!
I got my testosterone levels checked through a saliva test you can order online. The results came back that my testosterone was above average for my age. So no problems there.
I am in my mid 30's, excellent health, not overweight or anything. no smoking, drinking etc, workout every other day. Get plenty of sleep, low stress job...
One thing is I eat a vegetarian diet, but eat lots of variety. I avoid soy products since I read they can raise your estrogen levels or something..
