I've kept no records and I have no metrics, so this is just from the gut.  But it sure seems to me that the cost per hour has diminished over the past year.  Suppose that what we are purchasing has a slightly elastic demand curve.   If the demand has remained relatively steady throughout COVID and the cost has decreased then either the number of providers has increased, or, perhaps, the demand has fallen and the providers have dropped their rates.  I frequently used to see prices in excess of $500/hour but now two-hour sessions are often in the $800 range.   Has anyone else noticed this or am I just getting used to inflation?

600 is the floor and newcomers are asking 900.

I would say for top end providers (does not mean great, just price wise), 500 is the floor.  But, I know of several at 400 and below.  They are older, but still top providers.  Jenny in the Valley for instance.  Another one would be Goddess Alina.

Top ladies are 5-600.  Agencies are 3-4.  Sometimes even less for K-girl.  Attractive MILFs are 3-5.  There is an abundance of ladies.  You just need to know where to look.

If you look at the total number of TER reviews from LA and California in general, you would think 99% of providers there are Asian.

In my area, there's been a strong upward trend in prices which continues.  It appears Indies are going up fast, some agencies as well.  It's also affected the SB field.   Traveling girls who post on the AD board for my city, forget it - prices are generally crazy high.

I think you have to look at more than costs. Young providers coming into the market are asking 600 to 800 plus. MILFs, and  I don't mean the 20-year-old ones but +40 years old are asking for lower 350 to 400, but that is way too much for day-old bread.

I agree that beauty, youth, and low mileage are positives....my personal opinion is 6-8 is steep for an unproven brand. And given the " no review " policy these ladies seem to be adopting, thats a hell of a risk!
Ive said it a hundred times already, but ill say it again....
The only reason I can see a lady not wanting to be reviewed, is if they have something to hide.  
I understand " embellished reviews, and the ones where guys slam the woman, just because he didn't get his way, but those are not the norm, but rather the exception. Most of the embellishments are guys beating their chests about their size or prowess....and another guy isn't going to give two shits about the male in the equation.  
But ladies out there who are giving an exceptional service, should want that known...then you can validate the ask! Well...not ask, but rather the amount,  as ask would infer their is negotiation to be had there...

There are other reasons some have delisted
1) have never liked the explicit details of encounters but in the past put up with it
2) have not been able to get reviews that are fake ( both very good and some bad)
3) feel have not gotten fair treatment when reviews have stated things happening when they had not
Do not today feel the need to put up with these things and have learned to stay busy enough without this site
Yes - for the most part those who look like their pictures and deliver get results here but some just do not need the BS and disrespect.

Rates for the new providers are in the $600-$800 range, and very, very few of these women have reviews here on TER.  Thats way too much risk for me.

There is another site that is gaining some traction. Short reviews and allows the provider to respond. I use TER predominantly, but if I need a bit more intel or there is none here I'll go to the other place. At the end of the day, I don't think TER should delist providers unless there is some sort of legal reason. I can't see what that would be at all.

And I would be perfectly fine with submitting a review that just said great provider, I recommend, or I didnt have an enjoyable time with this provider.  

I suspect for most of us here it's not so much about the money -- though I certainly do care about that and am hardly the wealthiest or a high income earning -- as it is about wasting our time and the bad memories and experience. Even if I didn't care about the money spent because I make it faster than I could ever spend it I still don't need the bad experience or memory.

Exactly. I had a bad experience with Paula at Book Latina that I wish I could zap out of my brain ala Men in Black. I received a bunch of PMs saying folks had a similar experience. Wish they had written reviews.  

Back in the day there used to be on average more like 70,000 "users online" at any given time around here and even then most of the conversation on the boards was driven by just a few dozen posters. True, there were hundreds, maybe even thousands of total posters, but the conversations were still driven by a relative handful of TER Blabbermouths, Not to mention it's been rumored that a couple of the TER mods would start train wreck threads under various aliases just to get the boards stirred up.  I will neither confirm or deny those rumors. lol

Not sure where you are, but in my area, the prices haven't decreased at all.  In fact, they have skyrocketed.  Providers with no reviews who used to charge 200 are now asking for 400-500.  The 400 crowd now asks for 600-700.  It's gotten to the point where you can shell out 250 and only get 30 minutes of no GFE.
