P411 does not screen for our safety it is a third party website that encourages providers to do their own verification. I do okay people I have met & know personally.
Looking for a clarification on how p411 works. Assuming both provider and hobbyist have VIP type access, if a provider wants to contact some references based on the hobbyist's OKs, does she see the OKs email and or phone # in her view of the OK? Or at least in the p411 provider profile? Of course the hobbyist would check with his previous OK giver to ask if a reference is, well, ok. Then he can say, "sure, contact Ms X and Y. Her contact info is in p411."

Typically you would provide contact information for your references. In my case I typically expect to see their personal website link and email address. Sometimes phone numbers are also provided. If the provider uses P411, there is usually a banner on their website indicating this.
I would suggest you include the contact information instead of making the provider hunt it down herself. Only once I had a provider message me using P411 to ask for a reference, it was unexpected.
