Here is my story. In short, a provider I saw turned out to be my friend's friend!

Was at a close friend's birthday party some undisclosed time ago. It was at a really nice bar downtown. As my friend was introducing me & her to each other, I noticed a familiar face... A provider I saw only a few weeks ago!

I couldn't help but to recall the vivid DATY/69 and facial finish we had..... all the while pretending I didn't know her or ever met her before.. as he was introducing us.

Seriously, what are the chances?? 6 degrees of separation? more like 1 or 2 degrees.

She pretended she didn't know me either...  

That is, until I was all alone sitting outside having a smoke and trying to sober up. She came out, started nicely, but reiterated not to say a fucking word to her friends or else she'll blacklist me all over the globe. I asked her if I look like a stupid fuckin idiot. I guess she just wanted to make sure.

Things are cool now, but WTF?? Why the need to threaten a good fella? I know how this shit works and respect the girls' privacy.

Yeah granted I know her civvy name now, but still. Getting threatened in that manner kinda pissed me off.  Anyway, just thought this was interesting, I'm probably not the only one who had this experience...

I was out with friends at a pub in the valley.

I started texting.

ME:  Don't look around but ICU.

HER: OMG!!!  r u stalking me? :P

ME: lol. Here with friends.

HER: Me 2.  I miss u.

ME: Miss u 2.

This was the first time I've run into a provider I've seen in public.

Well some guys are stupid and do not understand discretion but still no excuse for her to threaten you right off the bat. To me this was a signal that she is terrified. I would have told her we share in our secret life and do not want it let out.

And in our defense, some girls are just as bad. Wait until you cross lines with one and she is waiting for you to come home. When you pull up she is waiting for you at the door asking where you have been and was it with another woman.

And even after a year or more, not something I would do. That world starts and ends at the incall. Unless lines get blurred or erased, it happens.

You know her very well, That was a no, no. Nor should she text you if she sees you in the civi world.

It all depends on the relationship one has with the provider. I've had a few provider friends with whom I have mixed 'worlds' with. LOL


It is all about common sense and discretion. You don't just walk up and plant a big kiss on her and grab her ass without considering your surroundings. First, I would acknowledge her from a distance and use non-verbal communication to see if it is OK to approach her. Secondly, NO hobby discussion unless SHE brings it up (which she shouldn't). Finally, have a back-up story as to how the two of you became friends in case a third party buts in.

A few providers I have seen have became friends in real life and our worlds have mixed. Both parties are fine with it. We keep each others secret unless told it is OK to be open. No issues to report.

One lady's world and mine our completely intertwined and I am not talking about my wife ether. She is now retired, and I gave her the out she needed to put her life back together after she made a mess of it. If she and I did not become real life friends, her life and the life of her daughter would be much worse. Our friendship is strictly platonic now.

It is OK to acknowledge a real life friend in public even if she is also a provider/client you saw professionally as long as it was established that it was OK to do so, first. Assuming that the provider and the OP had met a few times, they are comfortable with each other, discretion was maintained, and common sense was used, a simple text was not out of line at all.

Now I'm curious as to whether or not you called her again as a provider? Granted it was random AND she threatened you, but isn't a part of you thinking "well at least we know where we stand, lets do it again?" lol

i have bumped into my past dates too ..  we text hi and thats it..
