I can't say I really found it that good or true to how things really are, atleast for me. She seemed very distant ,even with her regulars. Maybe some girls are this way? I just couldn't relate. She also seemed very unhappy has a person.

Watched an interesting movie on Netflix called "The Girl Friend Experience."

Interesting look from the provider side of things.

What a bad movie!!!! Choosing her clients with some freaking number adding up thing?!?! I couldn't wait to see that movie thinking I could somehow relate... I do not know one escort who is that weird and confused about herself.

I was also looking forward to seeing it... sooo disappointed.. the movie really sucked:(

What was the thing that the guy did to her with a Q-tip or whatever? The guy that got a free session for a review and then blasted her in the review.

I thought it was an interesting movie, mostly because of the whole review thing. That's something I haven't seen in any other similar movie.

I feel like Sasha Grey should stick with porn.

Was gonna say the same thing but didn't have the balls!

Stephen Soderbergh has many facets, but that was the "Che apologist" Soderbergh making a point about the sex trade as a metaphor for capitalism. Note the parallels he draws with Sasha's boyfriend, who also "hustles" in his own way.

He wanted an empty cipher to play the provider, and made a good choice with Sasha.
