This is prompted by one of those on line relationship articles.  This one asked guys (Though I have my doubts as it sounds to me like it was all written by a gal, but whatever.) what non-sexual things their SO does that really turns them on, relationship-wise.

Most of them sounded bogus to me.  One in particular was cringe worthy:  "I like how she asks the waiter in restaurants exactly how a recipe is prepared so she can go home and make it herself."  (WTF?)

Another was spew worthy:  "I like to watch her put on her make up."

And how about:  "I love how she just breaks out into song at any moment of the day."  (Not at my house!)

There were a couple that I liked:  "She hates to shop saying most stuff people buy is never used and wasted."  (I want to meet that gal!)

So, here's the deal; forget the top 13, how about naming the three things you like best about a provider, other than hobby related stuff?

This is for guys who have long term sessions, or OTC time, etc.  This stuff seldom comes up in the one hour or even two hours sessions.

Here's mine (in no particular order of importance):

1.  They laugh at my (awful) jokes.

2.  They order at a restaurant without undue delay, and eat what they ordered without complaining that they ordered the wrong thing.

(I swear to God, I had one gal where I always ordered something for her that I liked and something for me that she would like because invariably, she would complain about what she got and insist on trading her dish for mine!)

3.  They are good listeners and I'm never at a loss for scintiating conversation with them.

There are others, but this is getting long.

I could care less about how good of listeners they are or how they put on their make up. I want them to be clean and ready for some hot sex. Simple, huh?

Is it really that "cringe worthy" to think that some people actually appreciate the little quirks their partners have? Some guys do dig watching a girl primp and some ladies really don't like shopping (GASP)! Just like some people can enjoy another person imperfections...gap in teeth, balding, freckles, etc...it's a crazy concept so I don't expect you to get it right now.

Have fun bashing people who aren't paid to make you feel good, but can enhance your life, no strings attached when they become friends/partners/family and glamorizing P4P relationships that stop as soon as your cash runs out.

...I took a provider to Nats game at the ball park and absolutely loved how she ate the hot dog with mustard and ketchup dripping on her dress...LOVED IT..

..I was with my long time ATF (now retired), and she was hosting incall at a DC hotel. I had parked on the edge of the street, and wasn't confident that I had read all the signs before heading upstairs. I was a little afraid that my car might get impounded.  

When I expressed my concern, she immediately told me to call her back if that was the case and she will drive me to the place where they impound these cars.

I thought that was well above and beyond what the relationship calls for.

So in a nutshell, I liked her kindness and concern for others...

Well, I'm a provider, but I'm also *ahem* experienced in this area. i.e. what I or a man likes in a real relationship vs. a provider/client relationship.

I see what you're saying, and honestly? I get it. It's the same thing for me as a woman and as a provider. When I do doubles, I'm very "girl get into the show!". In that scenario, it's about the client and about giving him the time of his life. The whole point of all of us being there is to make sure that he (or they) have an amazing time. And to be a client? I really only care that you're clean and don't treat me like a Wal-Mart hooker.

But when I'm alone with a woman, it's very different. I love watching her get ready, I love watching her absentmindedly sending a text, I love when she really, really laughs, or I do something that makes her happy. Same with a man. What attracts me to a "normal" person is that they're themselves. In everything they do, and I know that they like (most) of me as well.

This hobby isn't real, and the things that make me like a client or fellow provider are completely different than the things that make me like a person in civilian life.  We are not so different that it would change on the man's side, either. It really comes down to the ultimate point of the two (or more) of you being there, I think. It doesn't make anyone a puss, and it doesn't make anyone a dirty horn dog. It's just different.

hahahaha! Not the whole process. Trust me, we do weird stuff to get ready for a date. I definitely do NOT want someone sitting in the bathroom with me, watching every little move I make. But, I don't mind them watching a quick brush of gloss or blush before we head out. And a girl who can turn that from preening to foreplay? Hot. Kind of like watching a guy get ready is more "ehhh..." than watching him cooly put on a tie or a watch for us.

I think that's a big thing in the getting ready together vs. just letting the magic happen debate. A little goes a long way.

I would think that most gals would be driven nuts by having her date watch her get ready.  It's sort of a corolary of the old saying:  You never want to see how sausage and laws are made.

Now I'm not sure because frankly, I haven't wanted to watch a gal get made up.  I do know that when I am preening myself, I would not want anyone there watching me.  It's really not a pretty sight.

... but for some inane reason, I found it very amusing that my ex wife left half full soda cans all over the house. It sounds EXTREMELY stupid, but it used to put a smile on my face every time I thought about it. She would open one and refuse to drink it 10 minutes later because "it was stale".

With my Einstein intelligence  (wink wink), its rare that a woman listens and understands what is said (And not just by me)... I consistently watch conversations and say "WTF" didn't she hear that?.... now I will qualify my response to say, I am sure every woman who finds offense to this probably wrote somewhere that MEN are the worst listeners... I am willing to agree that that we (Both men and women) are bad "Selective" listeners.... its called human nature to block out that which we don't like....
