So after reading many reviews I have noticed that there are a few providers out there who not only per their "scorecard" but also the written reviews don't do any of the items that would bring their performance scores above 7.  How is it that they still maintain multiple reviews with performance scores above 7?  I know scoring has come under fire recently with the whole adjustment to the top provider's list and all which is why I mention this.  I'd appreciate any insight on this.

I had posted a recent review and thought her performance deserved a 10, but was asked to lower the score.  

Here is the official response from TER.

In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider may only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she also willing to performs the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise the score she is eligible for by one point.

This does not mean she earns extra points for performing the service; just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is taken. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she has, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.

If it were me I would add DATY & Squirts to the "extras" list, but I don't make the rules.

how one must read the review to really know if a gal is worth seeing or not.

I try to raise the score when a gal's performance in terms of the quality of what she does merits the higher score.

TER's system only looks at the what, but not the how, which I think is more important.

In any case often I have had scores summarily reduced much to the consternation of the provider, but there's no sense in arguing balls and strikes with the ump.

If I read him correctly the op is saying that the profiles of the providers in question indicate they don't offer the services required to receive more than 7 and that he has read the review. ( I am assuming by "the review" he means the juicy details.)

Don't get me started on the idea of scoring the performance based on what is offered instead of the quality of what is done.  (walking away just scratching my head)

Yet they received scores above 7 and they were allowed to stand by TER. I have no explanation.

Have you read every review of the ladies in question? Possibly in a review you missed the ladies menus have changed and the profile info submitted by that reviewer indicates as much. This is mere speculation though.

I've actually investigated it just to make sure that I wasn't missing something.

But, really, I agree that it's a flawed system, and that the how is more important than the what.  So I'm not actually worried about - I don't report it to anyone or anything like that - I just notice it and say hmmmmmm.

This is exactly what I am asking.  

I read recent reviews and they confirm wha the menu card says.  For example one provider does No BBBJ, no anal, no really-bi, but does kiss with tounge.  She has countless 9's for performance.  Another similar provider has similar "specs" but has varying reviews above 7.  I agree with one of the first replies to my thread where reading the review is the end all be all, but it's a PITA when the review you read is a major let down in terms of what you were expecting to find.
