I had a pop up yesterday fRoM one of those

sites that I would not leave when asked nicely. There was a popup screen that had an unwanted button to click which of course I did not. Such thing piss me off & I did a hard shutdown. Superantispyware didn't find anything last night or this morning. I'll be running MalwareBytes & other scans.

I reported about this on another site, thank you for

doing further research.
On the other site I posted, I was complaining about these sites. I had googled my number & many ads came up (makin it look like I advertise all over the place, which I don't). I had many new inquiries from guys asking for my pics (mine are updated regurlarly & I dnt photoshop or anything, just basic this is what you get pics).
Anyways, I see an ad that has my phone number then a girl's name Melissa followed by a statement saying in pics #3 & 4- So I click on, get the run around, tried to contact the site to have them remove my info. no one will get back to me (altho started recieving many emails from horny women who now want to fuck me, possibly for free-but none of them will return an email to me either).
So I change my pics around in my ad, then google my number & that same site pops up again, my phn number, then the name Melissa followed by 'in pics 1 & 3', which is the way I had changed my photos around in my real ad.
So these ppl were intentionally making it look as if I was using someone else's pics, & it really freaked me out that they were updating their false info about me, at the same time I updated my real ad.
My antivirus says I dnt have anything bad on my computer, but I could swear my computer is acting funny.

Thank you, now I know I need to do some more stuff to clean my computer......hopefully other guys haven't fallen victim to clicking on these sites. Hopefully the guys realize these sites aren't affiliated with the girls whose number they pop up under.

The following sites lift copyrighted images from providers and create ads without permission. Why?

It's not to sell ads. Providers clearly won't purchase ads with entities who steal from them.

It's not to get money via subscriptions. For most of these sites, access to information is FREE for all.

It's not to sell ads to legitimate companies. There aren't any, generally.

So how are these sites making money? Click on them, and you might very well find out. They're installing malware and more.

For your safety, I suggest avoiding the following sites:

escortphonelist.com
eroticmugshots.com

Even better advice (for the meep-meeps)..

…or anyone who has a meet-meep handy: Edit your computer's HOSTS file (every computer has one, Windows, Mac, Linux, whatever) and make sure that those sites are redirected to:

127.0.0.1

You won't be able to access these sites (that's what the redirect in the HOSTS file is meant to accomplish)--but shoot, do you really want to visit websites that are trying to install malware on your machine?

You need need to do full Virus Scan

Not Kidding. Possible malware install. It one reason you can’t close the window and neede hard shut down

Downside of advertising on backpage.

They can't take your image from p411 or date-check or eros. The go through BP and steal them. Asshole shit. If you guys can make your image so that other's can't save them/take them it might help.
(Don't ask me how, it's a miracle I can turn my laptop on at all).
