So, I have a confession to make. I've been doing incalls now for over 3 years on an air bed. Now, it's not the lay on the floor, camping/outdoor type of airbeds you see at Walmart, but rather the ones only sold online or at bed bath and beyond. It's like an aerobed, but a different brand. I've used Serta and now am using a brand I've had now for 2 years (yes, it's held up for 2 years without puncturing). I also have a memory foam mattress topper plus a down mattress topper...so it feels more like a regular bed. It's also 26 inches in height, and a queen size. I have a headboard made for double-rod curtains as if it's aginst a window, so it looks nice (I'm a decorator by default)

I hope you didn't shoot your client in the face....

Next time, tell him either buy you one or let it go!  ( which is a nice way of telling him to STFU!)

In any case, I wouldn't necessarily (unless it was an overnight) be doing much sleeping on it, so the real question is can the mattress support our attempts to shift positions comfortably, etc.?

First of all, not having a real bed is cheesy, and if she doesn't get that, well, that says a lot.  And then to bring the attitude, "if you don't like it buy me a real bed?"  WTF?  I guess if she's late to an appointment she thinks he should buy her a car.
PS: I'm not against a good air bed per se.  I've slept on several and they're quite comfortable.  It's the attitude in this case I'm not wild about.

Personally, if I'm paying upwards of $400 an hour for a full GFE experience, I wouldn't want to walk in and see an air mattress on the floor. Seems cheap and tacky and I would probably excuse myself and leave. Then again, if you're Olivia Munn in heat, I suppose allowances can be made,

Every race and country has culture in how they live and how they do business. I hope well traveled isn't on your website. And using racist comments, (and yes, it's racist,) is simply an excuse for you not to have to take action or responsibilities for running a good business.  
 
How much do you charge? $20/session? Yeah, maybe the guy needs to spend more. But if $250 plus, or if you call yourself high end, get a bed. Don't call Americans naive and stupid if you can't even figure that out.  
 
You don't have to get a real bed, but know there are plenty of ladies who have real beds and will be happy to take the business. It's your responsibility to listen. If an air bed suits you, go for it. But don't expect it to suit your potential clients. At least he told you and still came back.

When news reporters asked random sample of people where States like Washington (state),  Utah, Tennessee,  Illinois Indiana, Alabama exist,  so called Americans who have Lived here all their lives couldn't figure out where each state are really located and didn't know the capital to each state.  Same goes for random people who were asked about who the vice president is, who the state elected officials are,  and whether Washington DC is a state or not. Simply put,  Americans are not up to par with current affairs and basic knowledge. If she had said, "What's wrong with you men in DC", or wherever she's based that would be different. By specially say Americans, to me she is making a statement about ALL Americans.

And she seems to have a evolving pattern of complaining about her business.

I don't think it's at all fair or good to blame Americans for the fact that she doesn't have a bed. She didn't say stupid, which is good, but materialistic for wanting someone who runs the entire business by the bed to - have a real bed? That's not materialistic. That's asking for the most essential item in a sex related business. If she's ok having an air mattress, and it works for her rate/clientele, that's great. But to blame her business supply on an 'American who demands but doesn't pay for it?' Because they're American? They are paying for a service where it's the general practice to have a real bed.

All we really need is a throw pillow so your knees don't get sore and a chair for me to sit in. I prefer my bbbj sitting while she's down on her knees so I can see her face while she's blowing me. If you want me to daty, and the air mattress is fine for you for that then I'm good. A chair, a pillow and an air mattress will do the trick with me.

I once tried to hook up on an airbed, nice one too, and it kept flipping over and deflating. IMO Just go buy a bed, if not don't tell everyone that you don't have one.

Hundreds of dollars an hour and you can't even buy a $100 bed off Craigslist? I don't care how nice it is, it's still an airmatress and people will still notice. As you have seen. What about all the other guys that don't have the guts to bring it up? Some things are personal preference and all, but I don't think this is one of them.

oh trust me, even when i'm staying at the hyatt regency, i still keep my prices reasonable. however, it probably wouldn't make a difference.

last year, i had a choice of purchasing an entertainment set, or a new bed. i went for the entertainment set because i liked watching movies by the fireplace. plus the bed DOES NOT flip over when 2 people are on it.

ewww, do you know what a $100 mattress buys? blood, cum and bedbugs! thats the point in my post i was trying to make. sure there are cheap mattesses to be had, but they don't last...and could be potentially dangerous exposing metal springs, being squeaky, etc.  

Then quit your bitching!!!! You were given great advice by more than several people in here but you can't be ripped away from this phucken good air bed. Keep convincing yourself with that bs, us on the board and the clients that told you aren't impressed by the shower curtain rod on the wall, mattress topper, bedding that simply STILL does not make it an actual bed.  

An air mattress?!?! REALLY?!?! I have a nice Aerobed air mattress and it's a long way off from a regular mattress. You need to get real and stop being so cheap. It's like going to see a hairdresser and they have kitchen scissors instead of quality ones that they make for hairdressers and barbers.
