It seems that not all gift cards are equal when trying to pay for TER membership. Which one(s) are best - best meaning best yield?
....I've had more issues with TER than the cards but even that has been very limited. As far as yield, I've always assumed it's dollar for dollar. If not, I'd love to hear more.

PG used to list current trade-in values for different cards but I can't find the values. Anybody?
(The cards accepted and the redemption values probably fluctuate with supply and demand.)

There are other sites that act as intermediaries between biz and customer, but I don't know which ones are anonymous AND customers don't get to choose: the payment arrangement is set up by the biz (TER) and the monetizer (PG). Other possibilities:

In general, according the TER and PG (or other company) agreement, you link to PG from your TER account. TER hides your ID from PG and connects you anonymously to PG. You enter your GC card info. The company (PG) monetizes YOUR gift card and pays that lesser-than-full-value amount to YOUR TER account. They take a fee for that service.

Let's say you have a $100 Target GC. (Totally anonymous if bought with cash.)
Paygarden might give you $70 for it.
By arrangement with TER, that $70 goes to YOUR account on TER for X days of VIP.
Paygarden now tries to sell what used to be YOUR $100 Target GC to someone else for MORE than $70.

The conversion rates differ by brand / company. It's easier for Paygarden to resell a Target GC than some obscure brand GC so (usually) they will pay more for a Target GC than, I don't know, maybe Omaha Steaks.

Well, it would be good to know which one gives us the best value.
Apple/iTunes gift cards. I always get dollar for dollar using them.
I've used them twice. $100 Apple gift card gives me 100 days VIP. I've tried others like Kohl's and gotten less than 90 days.

Quarterly Membership is ~17 Brit Pounds per month = $22.80 per month.
Quarter = 3 months = 90 days
($22.80 / month x 3 months) = $68.40, 3 months = 90 days
($68.40)/(90 days) = $0.76 / day
$0.76 /day x 100 days = $76 for 100 days.

So, the monetizer paid ~76% for the Apple GC. Not too bad.
