that if you are that concerned I would stay away if I were you. This is an iffy situation are looing into there are a number things that come into play, is anything really happening are you there for a real massage, no you may not end up arrested . If you are in the act of the happy ending or anything more then that then yeah you will end up getting arrested. This is something that you need to think long and hard about. also do your research on what ever AMP you decide to go to look at their track record.

About 3-4 years ago nearly every AMP in CT got raided and closed up.  I haven't heard of any recent busts, but that might be because they never reopened.

On the other hand, I just visited a place that's been around since the 1970s and never has gotten hassled either.

It's a chance you take.

Depends on the prevailing laws.  If there are 'John laws' in that area then you can be arrested due to your mere presence in a place where prostitution is suspected.  A few years back, in Honolulu, an AMP was raided and the ladies were busted, several illegal immigrants arrested, plus an underage female taken into custody.  No males were arrested, though that AMP is rarely deserted.  We have seen males busted here for propositioning the street walkers downtown, though.  A couple of high school coaches were the most recent that I can recall.  Anyone propositioning a dickiess Tracey on a street corner deserves the embarrassment.

I love TER, but there are better boards for AMP reviews.

I've occasionally visited AMPs after careful review of boards that specialize in them.  There are a few positives:
- If you are spontaneously in the mood, you can usually find one open until the wee hours 7 days/week
- Like McDonalds, you are pretty much guaranteed the same consistent and predictable product for nearly the same consistent price.

As others have said, it pays to do as diligent research on AMP boards as we do here on TER for solo providers.  Some are in unsavory parts of the city, and the risk from the neighborhood at late night hours exceeds the risk of a bust.

The cops aren't likely to conduct a raid during non-day shift hours or if the weather is crummy.  Visiting an AMP in the middle of a driving rainstorm or sub-zero temperatures is not too bad of an idea.  A warm late summer or early fall day close to an election is not the best time to visit an AMP.  Lately, the busts have not been because of the hobby.  They have been illegal immigration raids or other federal things such as human trafficking.  The expenses are paid by the feds, so the local cops are happy to play along.

Someone else mentioned about the track record of AMPs in a particular city.  DC had a thriving AMP industry until a few years ago.  Now, through busts, they are down to just a couple.  As a result of supply & demand, the prices have also gone up.  San Francisco has gone the way of DC as well.  But, the infrastructure across the US that keeps these places running is incredibly resilient.

I'm not scaring you away -- just echoing the good advice to be careful and do your homework.
