I'm sure this has been asked but I tried a search and can't come up with the right words I guess. Making it simple looking for a good non traceable cash phone . Looking to just walk in store pay cash and out door. Any help appreciated, as well as the loving abuse this post will surely generate. Seriously tho thanks for any help....

i just bought virgin mobile plan/ LG cash phone the other day.   low cost plan of 35 per month.  you pay cash and you buy these cards that add money to your account.  they try to get your name on the plan but i just said john doe.  totally anonymous.

You can use a burner app on your mobile but it's linked to your CC....

I go into Walmart purchase a Verizon cash phone and a phone card every couple of months. I always pay with cash, so there is no name or record. You can also buy the Verizon cash cards at just about any store.

Keep it in a place that only you have access to. Never turn it on unless you are sending or expect to receive a call or text. Never use it at home or anywhere near SO, family, friends or coworkers. If you do this then you don't have to worry about the SO.

clear calls before I leave her.  It means I must access numbers before I call but it works for me.  Yes, generally you must hide it well...  keep it turned off when not in use.  Unless you can explain an emergency phone in your car.  
The last store that pushed me for a name on the receipt...  First Name "Johnny"  Last name "Cash"...    
I'm one of the few still using a flip phone...   I can swap phones on my belt & no one the wiser.

I was also wondering if you can get a different number when you want on the phone and how that works.....it just popped in my mind. If for whatever reason you need to lose the original number. Thanks Again though ...

but a bill collector chasing a person who received my old phone when I donated it to a women's charity (though did not know who I was).  Lesson:  I failed to remove the phone correctly & it still showed up as linked to my new one...  because I roiled the minutes over.  Never again!  You can file to stop bill collectors from calling but then you have to give your real information.  
I was on the road when the bill collector called again but I talked to them, explained this was an emergency cell for my car & I was not nor had no knowledge of who they were looking for.  I've not had another call.  
If I do, I'll use the 275R16 cure...  (Put it under the tire of my truck) & get a new trac phone.
