Probably Kawaii. I'd have the ladies brought to me, then have my helicopter drop us off at one of the secluded waterfalls and pools, along with a picnic basket. Of course the young ladies could stay, afterward, at my place, for some well deserved R&R.

If you had all the resources you wish you could, and wished to retire to that ONE place that has always eluded you because of finances, where would that location be? I'm kind of curious as to what criteria you all would use to choose that spot. Seclusion? Available sex? Outside the US? Inside the US?

I doubt I could pick one place. One thing is for sure, it couldn't be an island. I get bored way to easily to retire on an island.

I would have to say it would be a toss up between SE Asia and Colombia, both have beautiful women, a great climate, and did I mention, beautiful women. lol

Try Guyana. A bunch of uber-hot East Indian chicks who speak Creole - think Aishwarya Rai with a Jamaican sounding accent - they fall over themselves for Americans and think you're insanely rich if you have $100 U.S. in your pocket; curry chicken and curry pussy...just try not to get robbed with in five minutes of stepping off the plane, they've got gangsters down there that make the ghetto shit heels of this country look like Eagle Scouts.

I lived in the San Diego area. I could never live on the LEFT COAST again. I do agree about the climate though.

what a retarded statement, not saying that you are retarded. I would never say that while my name is in red,(well maybe I would) but that statement about being dangerous and retarded is spoken like someone who has never been anywhere south of the US.

I travel to several countries south of the border and find them a lot less retarded and much safer than, uh lets say Detroit.

I love the ocean. I love America. I love Cuban and West Indian food.

I would however still keep a place in NYC. No place like home.

As for "Available Sex". I'm a girl - I just need to let it be know I am offering sex to get sex.

Speaking of that.... LOL

Na Pali and Hanalei are gorgeous.  But in terms of livability, I still might take the Puna area of the Big Island,  just south of Hilo.  Great beaches (many nude), outrageous snorkeling and tons of weed.  A great place to shack up.  Still very affordable, too.
Hana on Maui is great, too, but expensive as hell.

of course I would only be partially retired. As I would want to have my own XXX production company so I could have some real fun, eh the financial benefits would be nice too. For my true retierement I would like to travel extensively Romania, France, Amsterdam, Brazil, Spain, Dubai, and many other hobby happy countries.

Yep.  Used to travel to SD on business frequently.  Loved La Jolla, but the city?  Not so much.  Great weather and not much else.  Dinner at the Del Coronado was fun, though.

many places that I haven't been too yet. But of those I have, I have to say Costa Rica. Lived in Hawaii for 3 years and I have to agree with Gambler that I would get board with a small island. The places I have been too overseas for business are not options. Many of my vacations were in the US or Caribbean. Wish I had traveled far and wider when I was able to.

In the US — Hawaii is an obvious choice within the limits of an island as already mentioned.  I would not live outside of San Francisco in California — lived there for 10 years and I would go back.  Maybe NYC — I know its not everybody's idea of retirement, but I have always loved it there and never lived there.

Outside US — Toronto is quite nice and not far or too foreign,  Melbourne Australia and the surrounding towns in that area are very nice.  Maybe Costa Rica, but no way any place else south of US.  Too dangerous and retarded.

Well, compared to Detroit, you have a point.  Actually compared to Chicago (where I am now), you would have a point too.  I've traveled all over Central and South America, but maybe I only saw the "Detroit" parts.

My friends and family are here. I like the fact there really is four seasons, plenty  of outdoor fun to be had, safe streets, and large enough to enjoy the benefits of a big city without most of the draw backs. I really like Utah. I know it isn't everyones cup of tea but its home.

I think is the only state (except Alaska) that I haven't been to. Took a trip last year to the Dakotas, Wyoming and Montana. Was going to drive through a small bit of Utah (just to say I had) but fell in love with this road I was on drive to Wyoming.

Considering you are such a good friend of Mikey's I might have to get that 49th state in someday.
