I need to take a leak, so I go into the bathroom and don't shut the door all the way.   She calls me on it and says it is rude.

Was I out of line?

Does anyone ever earn open door pee privileges?

Didn't I read about this same question in Psychology Today a long time ago?

Next time, stay in bed and soak the sheets and ask her if she still thinks that leaving the door open is rude.

To some people, golden showers in the bathtub is a sexual act but peeing in the bowl is a private, disgusting personal sanitation issue that should be kept private.  Go figure.

Not every couple or 'best friends' share ALL b'room privileges. Some do tinkle while the other uses the sink. Some do not. I have shared the b'room (as both tinkler and sinkler) with some hostesses who do not mind at all. One time, when I said something apologetic and was going to excuse myself to give her privacy, she said something like, "I've just been sucking your dick and eating your ass. Do you think I mind if you pee in my presence?" But some do prefer not to be involved in those things.

It can be a fine line to be in of or out of.  I'd have to say that you were out of line because you were out of line to HER, but I hope not catastrophically. "I'm sorry. I was testing the limits of our relationship. Next time, I'll close the door ... unless you want a golden shower?"

Remember the trough at Fenway Park?  You would never be out of line to pee in the trough side by side and face to face with 20 other guys.

Unless you have good reason to believe it won't bother the lady then don't do it in front of her.

as vorlon said, in general if you don't know what she likes and dislikes it's better to assume she doesn't want to hear your pee hit the water or watch pee come from the dick she's about to suck.

BUT, I am assuming this is a paid date, and part of "paying for it" is not getting a true GFE, you are supposed to get all the good parts of having a GF, but none of the nagging, petty bullshit. IMO, SHE was the one out of line, depending on how big a deal she made out of it, if it were me I would seriously consider making it my LAST visit with her, Problem solved.

 
Outside of P4P, every relationship takes it's own pace where it comes to "familiarity" I had one GF who on our second date not only walked right into the bathroom while I was taking a pee, but walked up behind me, grabbed my dick and starting aiming it for me. OTOH I have seen other women for years who still lock themselves in the bathroom in my presence, go figure, right?
