Switter is an OK option if you want to continually jump from place to place like a digital nomad. It's only a matter of time before it gets shut down, either legally or because they run out of money.

Mastadon, a decentralized social network, is a much, much better option.

At a minimum, Twitter will have the broadest audience for SW advocacy for a long time into the future.  While there are alternative platforms better suited to advertising the nuts and  bolts of daily business (dates, services, pricing), keep an eye on SWs with large Twitter followings (2,000+ followers) to see how they are adjusting their social media practices.

One thing to keep in mind as you diversify into emerging platforms is they may not develop staying power.  Trends will develop, and a new normal will eventually take hold, but until then, don’t  put all your eggs in one basket.

Sort of like the bitcoin idea with many servers, not central ownership etc.

But from a fast look seems very complicated. Which "instance" do you join?  Seems the German one is the largest but no idea what related to companions.   Assume no organization by states etc just massive posts all over within a "instance."

I haven't spent a lot of timing looking but very confusing from my fast look - but the technology and open source use seems great.

I was told as long as I didn’t use words like a hobbyist or provider .f I want to travel to San Francisco or Monteray I might move there so I really want to visit and travel there I think I’m just too going to use P411 until that gets shut down I hope that people contact me I get their numbers cleared through P411 before they shut  down because guys not all these girls are going to take chances that they can’t clear I’m not gonna see anybody I can’t clear I quite frankly would rather work for Walmart then take that chance please get clear through P411 before it’s too late and you won’t be able to see The girls that just refuse to get in trouble thank you

Asked TER to create "Tour Board" without text, only city and date.  Evidently, that is still considered an ad as they did not create one.  I'm guessing that anything initiated by the site versus hobbyists/providers they fear would be construed as "promoting."  My personal take is that having a providers profile up is the same thing...splitting hairs really.

Skype, Microsoft, Subreddit, Walmart (ceasing carrying Cosmo magaine) and others?  Not really a fear of promoting, otherwise Google would stop allowing our search results to appear.  Taking a stand against internet censorship and the far reaching ramifications the legislation may cause society to unravel.  Otherwise, they would stop carrying lube and condoms.

I signed up for switter but honestly I'm having some reservations, as well as time commitment issues. It is always so difficult and time consuming to build a brand new social media account, I have barely over 300 followers on Twitter after more than 3 months on my new page. It is not thrilling the idea of starting all over, I most certainly hope twitter does not start booting us off! But if they do? Catch me @[email protected]

Oh the madness

So far no much going on there yet.  Interface is clunky, have no idea if you can PM or search hashtags.  As a married guy I don't want an app that can be found so using phone browser and its clumsier that Twitter's.  Granted, its new, its open source, and still drawing people in.  I have to say though, not much East Coast based representation other than ads I have already seen on Twitter.  And the TONS of findom toots.  Enuff already with that!  I see the potential, but it has a looong way to go content wise.  (Note: currently most of my toots are boosting provider ads, generally if you follow me I'll boost your toots)  no charge, not necessarily interested in specifics yet, just fun.

This is a 'sub culture' and not mainstream. Meaning, most people vilify those of that participate in this thing we do. They don't understand, and don't want to.  

P4P is something they can't comprehend. They think the term of 'sex' should be kept behind closed doors, even though they read the media and see it on TV.

There's no such thing as free sex. You pay for it, one way or the other.

Some of the guys I grew up with. When I told them I see escorts they said they would never pay to fuck a woman. I asked them a question. How much did you pay for that car she drives? How much do you pay for that house you live in? AND, do you get laid when you want? And it's always the same fucking. She lays there till you get your nut, right?  

Their mouths dropped.  

It was like I had a camera in their bedroom.  

They knew I was right. Everything I said.  

The thing is, this is just the start of bad things to come. Not cum.  

Now that review sites and the like are shutting down ads, we're going back to the stone age. Where you see obscure ads in your local rag from people that aren't verified.  

I don't know about you, but I'll only see girls that my guys have seen and recommend.
