Here's a topic I haven't seen, or maybe it's seldom discussed. Set me straight on this. Have you ever experienced a cock block? It's when a provider refuses to vouchsafe the references of a client, or otherwise discourages a client or a provider in seeing another provider, in other words, the competition.

I made the "mistake" of emailing two providers about an appointment later in the day.  One was my ATF at the time, another was her best friend in the biz.  Dumb ass me sent it to the friend first and they talk all the time... So guess what happened.

I got called out on the time stamps of the email.  

"Why did you send that email to her first?"
"Aren't I your ATF?"  
"You can't see her cause she's so kinky."

Told me straight up I couldn't see her best friend because she was jealous.  

Never did see the best friend, and that ATF bitch is now my All Time Fucked up provider.

especially when one you're asking isn't getting any business. This is a cut throat business. Nothing surprises me anymore lol.

a provider I know told me that some other hobbyist she would not name warned her not to see me for vague reasons.

Not sure what the hell that was all about.

She ignored him in any case.

Funny thing...it is usually those providers who constantly brag about how great their business is, and how hot they are. Hmm...talk about blowing your  *ahem* courtesan image lol. Providers who have to do that, are stuck in this business for life and know it. They will fight over every dime.

When I began on the net, in 01 and all to 05 even, women did not act like that! Other providers were happy to provide references and make sure we are all safe...  
It seems after the economy got worse, and more and more women entered this business, the possessiveness started... More girls found it harder to make the same amount they were used to, and so they resorted to shady acts.  

I never ever got a no, or attitude, or anything when I checked references... now the same can not be said.  

The funny thing is, that women KNOW men like variety, and if you think even your FAVE client is ONLY seeing you, then think again..
Not only that, by them refusing, it actually counteracts their agenda, as the provider checking the reference is sure to  inform the hobbyist that the said provider is not cooperating. The hobbyist is then more than likely NOT going to keep seeing the jealous provider. So she loses a good client!
