I was trying to set up an appt with a traveling eros provider here locally. She seemed very skiddish - and would not accept local provider references - said she had been burned by them before. This is the second recent reference I have heard to providers in my locale back-stabbing their competition.
As a hobbyist, this makes me very uncomfortable - I'm questioning what I can do to stay out of the fray but it also leads me to wonder what could be done about it?
Especially since we are all here.... and it is about business.... I get burgers at Burger King... but I also buy them at Wendy's.... and they both do well.... even in a world with McDonalds....
Why a provider would do this is well beyond me... and yes, I've seen this behavior as well... it is totally uncalled for. Thanks.
That is one reason why I don't go to Meet and Greets, plus the anonymity factor. I have also had some problems from a few well-known providers in my area getting references. I would give a reference to anyone to protect their safety. Geez, they are rude, eh?
Nope. Down a bit further south from DC. It's scary though - of course I want to stay out of the fray, but as regards the provider in question, I would have really loved to meet her, and it has proven to be an obstacle also. There may be more though that I don't know...
