TER General Board

But it's possible to code

This has also come up in S&P (Suggestion and Policy). It should not be difficult to code the Profile database to increment "Age" on the anniversary of the Profile creation (correlated to an accurate or credible age) or some other fixed date.  There might be a discrepancy of a new months here and there, but a Provider can ask TER to use her actual birthday instead of Profile creation date.
.
Of course, any new work on TER software (Profiles, Reviews, Forums) is not very likely while traffic, VIP dues, and other revenue (if there is any) is down. So we'll just have to wait, year by year, and see.

Does anyone know if the age displayed on a providers profile is updated? I assume it isn't because it's an age range. I see '26-30' for a providers age, and she has reviews going back many years. I assume the age shown is the age when the profile was created, and not her current age...just want clarification...

However there is one loser here that spends his days checking old profiles against a provider's current ad and if there is an update warranted due to a discrepancy in the ages, he reports it to TER and gets a free day or two of VIP.  Kind of a labor intensive way to  save $18 a month on VIP, but there is no accounting for how cheap some guys are that don't have a life.

So to answer your question, some profile ages are the same ones that were put up by the original profiler, but others may have been updated.  Its no likely that a provider is going to report to TER that she's older now than what her profile says.  There may be other members than the loser I just mentioned checking for update opportunities as well, but they aren't bragging about it, so I can't say for sure.

to go back and see when her first review was, then add the number of years since then to the age that is listed.

I have always found that the age listed in the profile is seldom updated.

Since only a very small percent of the provider profiles are monitored by (and even fewer "claimed") by the ladies themselves, it likely doesn't happen very much.

But I like to think that many of those who are active on TER actually DO keep their details updated.  At least, as much as they WANT to.  ;-)

Personally, I've updated my age a few times and I know other ladies who have as well.   :-)

I think the most important updates I would like to see from a provider are menu changes.  Judging from reviews, this seems to be a source of disappointment, and resulting lower review scores, for a lot of reviewers.  If all of the services listed on the profile are no longer available, its to the provider's ultimate benefit to keep the list current.

One problem with keeping menu items current and correct is that a large number of providers on here do not even know they are here.
Others have know idea they can get them changed/corrected easily.
Think with the auto- fill now happening less thought is given to it by subsequent reviewers making corrections less likely.
Finally -menus get confusing with there not being today a clear separation between FS and massage providers with what seems to me an increase in the number of massage providers with ungrades
Makes it hard to know what basic menu is.

You are right about that.  It seems every month or so I see at least one provider that did know what TER is or that she had reviews, but these are usually Kgirls and not indies, so its never going to be universal, but those indies (I see about 15 of those a year, on average) that manage their brand through TER (reviews, ads, board posts, photo only board, etc.), would be wise to make sure their menu offerings are up to date.
