that we can apply to ensure happier hobbying in the coming year?

1) Don't haggle over a ladies price - even though you may disguise it - just don't - (ie, the gimme a birthday special, gimme the I'll write a great review special,  gimme the I thought we had connected special, gimme the the economy is down special.... etc.)

2) If you cannot afford the lady's rate, you can't see her.

3) be clean

4) if you expect something that is not on the menu - ask, and if told no, it means "no"...  

5) be on time - if you are running late - call.

6) if you have to cancel call and cancel with enough time for the lady to rebook the time....

7) don't show up impaired by drugs or alcohol

8) be respectful of the ladies -

9) the ladies don't care if you are married or not... and light chatter is ok, but if you start to get serious about a lady and go on about your "future life together" that might make them uncomfortable...

10) While a hobby, emotions are a part of it, be sure you know where your emotions are... if they are lost or stolen, you may wish to step away from the hobby.... and put your hands in plain sight where we can all see them...

11) do not hobby while you have a cold, the flu or anyother even mildly communicable disease...

12) trim the hair growing where it use to not grow...

13) never, EVER, never ever, ever, ever post or say anything that would reveal ANYTHING about the personal life or location of a provider - even if you know it - guard it with your life... 'casue her's depends on it.

hummm.... wonder how many of these things we've broken???  anyone think of any more?

Great list. I would add (in light of some of the more cynical posters here)

14) Remember this is a fantasy that the ladies provide. Some do a better job than others but don't ever confuse it with reality.

15) Remember this is a fantasy and on rare occaision the provider might forget that too. Procede gently and with extreme caution

16) Remember, this is a fantasy, but fantasies can be fun.

17) Remember in a fantasy, she can still feel you. So listen to her and let her know what you want too.

Aside from that I agree with 1-13.

This came through loud and clear during my initial research:

A well reviewed provider is a safe provider.

as to clarification on #12 - stand in front of a mirror... and look at your face - if the hair you see, does not start on a portion of skin that you can see, it needs to go... ear, nose, excessive eyebrows... all - need to be neet and trim...

But I do like your list.... good addition.

there's a lady I see from time to time about whom I could fantasize about spending a lot of time together, and there's nothing about my personal life that would interfere, but if she started talking about "future life together," I think I'd be gone quicker than the door could slam.  Interesting dichotomy, isn't it?

then take it home and whack it!

16. Always bring some covers with you just in case she is running low or worse, she forgets she is out!!

17. Always tell the lady how nice they look (pretty, beautiful, sweet...etc..you get the idea), as she probably went to a lot of effort to put her best look out there for you!!

That every single topic that you mentioned (as worthy as they may be) has been discussed and argued about to death on a regular basis in the five or six years that I have been reading here.  This has helped me to come to the conclusion that some guys get it, some don't, some honestly want to get better and some could care less about what the ladies or the rest of us think of them...That's fine, that's what makes this place interesting.

I haven't "learned" but rather confirmed that the set of values that I came into the hobby with many years ago are what have always worked for me and always will..

and yet a few offerings

maybe a different way of saying 9/10
- don't let the lady play with your feelings - and do not play with hers. Keep it real.

- don't go overboard with gifts. You will set too high a baseline and the lady will eventually be disappointed if the gifts taper off

- do not post anything on the board suggesting that your ladyfriend(s) give you extra time or off menu services - this will set up unreasonable expectations, cause them problems and make their other clients jealous

- groom the groin a day in advance to allow small abrasions to heal. Likewise brush the teeth several hours in advance

- get a feel for how often / how much the lady prefers to communicate between visits so that you don't overstep her boundaries on this issue

- be ready to leave on time - don't be a camper -
unless invited or suggested by the lady that you don't need to rush

I wonder if the misogynistic humor that frequents the boards lowers the respect level for providers and makes it less likely that such good advice will be implemented?

who's posts the read. And, who's not to.  Hence, eliminating a desire to complain about the posts of others, while at the same time getting useful information from some very astute and wise people.

a TER VIP membership is worth its weight in gold...I can't imagine hobbying without the "knowledge" that is shared here....

If you want GFE and especially DFK, best not to have a big hunk of lettuce or something else disgusting wedged in there!
