As you are aware, we cannot answer the phone all the time. (Reasons vary.)
But why can't you leave a message??? No one else has access to my phone and you must know my pin to retrieve messages...

If I am trying to schedule an appointment for that night, I will continue to call the girls with whom I would like to meet for a date until the first girl picks up.  The only time I would leave a message is if I have exhasuted all phone numbers.  I assume that if the girl does not pick up, she must not be available that day (unless it is very early in the morning).

Just my thoughts.

It costs them too much money and time to check every single message left in their voice mail.  I would not leave a message in a voice mail unless I am willing to wait several hours or a day for the call back.

If I leave a message I have no idea when the lady will call back.  Once, I left a message, said call back only within the next hour and she called back three hours later when I was dining with my SigO.         I had to make like it was a wrong number, "Nope, sorry you must have the wrong number, no one here interested in that RIGHT NOW. (But maybe later, honey.)"

Because I don't know when you are going to call back...and I am not the best "actor"...so if you call at an "awkward" moment, I'm dead.

It is just better that I keep trying you. I don't mind.

BTW...this means FOR GAWD SAKE don't call ME back via the number you picked off the caller ID...but you knew that, right? You're a professional....

(Then again, so was that girl who showed up 30 minutes early for an appointment awhile back...and didn't understand why her client was so upset...)

The main reason I would not leave a message is that there is no way of knowing when or if the call would be returned.  Some gals are notoriously bad in this respect, & I'm not the kind of guy to call & leave messages with several gals & then schedule with the first one to call back (what do you then say to no.2 etc?).  But if I've arranged my schedule for free time on x day at x time, I also don't want to end up on "empty."  

While it's probably not too important...How are we to know in advance that your email is completely private?  I once called & the voice on the machine was that of a guy!!  And I had dialed correctly.

In addition to the previously mentioned reasons, I stopped leaving messages simply because usually my calls are seldom returned. And yes, I leave a tasteful, discreet message -- just that I'd be interested in meeting, and what time to call me back.

I once read a review of a provider in the middle south, a good looking gal from the pictures, who gave a great performance as best I could tell, but whose male SigO sat through the entire session in another room watching TV (according to the poster).

Then too we had the one post of the guy who was dating a provider and who said he on occassion listened into sessions from a closet.

Did I say something earlier about this being a diverse world? Man...does it take all types or what??

According to her reviews, her boyfriend greeted the hobbyists and stayed in the living room to keep an eye on any potential problems.  Lots of reviewers are initially uncomfortable about the arrangement but end up singing high praises about her service.

When a message is not left with all the information it is hard to risk putting the client in a tough situation. If the client is at a hotel, most will not connect you unless you have the first and last name in addition to the room number. Also if the message does not give you an area code it is impossible to try to guess. I have also experienced that a time frame is not left for expample......please do not call me after 5pm. I think that e-mail is easier.

I have had the same experiences and if she picks up, I say great, and if not then I move on to the next since I have to play out of town, I prefer to make an appointment first.

I agree Relky that in addition to all of the other reasons, I stopped leaving messages because my calls were seldom returned.  Or in some instances the provider would answer the phone and ask you to call back tomorrow.  Of course even when you call back you never hear from them again.  Normally you would expect this to happen with ladies that have more business than they can handle.  However I have also seen this happen with ladies who are offering one special after another trying to generate more business but for some reason are unable to return any phone calls.  After a few attempts at various times you just scratch them from the list of ladies you would like to see.

I'd set aside some time every day (say noon to 12:30 or noon to 1:00 depending on the need) and dedicate it to taking calls.  No appointments during that period.  Then I would let this be known and clients could call me during that time.  First priority goes to those ready to schedule appts.  I would have call waiting, and use the second line to set specific times for a callback within the hour.  I would adjust the time period and procedure as needed depending on the traffic.

Right now it's hit or miss.  If I knew I had a good chance of reaching a provider between noon and 1:00, I'd definitely go for it.

i agree.  i once lft a message and then feared all day that the return call would come at a bad time.  luckily, it came in at an appropriate time.  Now i just call back.  sorry ladies, selfishness at work here...self preservation cannot be easily overcome..(.with a provider, I never OVERcome :p )

In a past career,I always had consistent office hrs. it was better time management. I also attended several of Anthony Robinsons semminars that were very effective in teaching how to make yourself available to your clients. I had forgotten about all that info. I will definately set something up as a goal before year end. Thank you for your suggestion.

I check all my messages, but what is really really irritating is all the breathin gfo r2 minutes and hang ups!  OOOO they make me sooo mad!!
