OK, why?  There are big (read FAT) girls, skinny (read anorexic) girls, girls with beautiful hair, girls with no hair, blond, black, red (really really red), or Brown hair.  Blue eyes, blew eyes, brown eyes, black eyes, green eyes.  Tall, short, in between....  Real boobs, fake boobs, lactating boobs etc.  There are all sorts... and know what, there are men out there who like all these different varieties.... how many times do I read  a review where a B&S operation occurred....  and the gal that showed up is described as ok looking... but just not the expected person... so the session just does not go well.  So why do the B&S?!

Advertise the "Real deal" - if, as I believe, there is a market for all (and I do mean ALL) types, isn't it better for both hobbiest and provider to be matched up correctly?  Seems to me that it would lead to better business (more repeats etc.).  

Perhaps someone from an agency would wish to comment on why - given the electronic world and the fact that if you are a B&S it will be splattered all over the internet faily quickly - you would jeopardize your business in this manner?  

Please help me understand this.... as it boggles my two functional neurons.

I guess one reason is that the agency is too lazy to have a photo taken for each provider, especially if the turbover rate is high. They could place just one ad and send whoever is available to their clients.

Lets say you call and the girl you want isn't available. Nine out of 10 guys wouldn't just take the next best thing, you would move to your next ad. So they lie to you and send out their next choice knowing most guys don't have the balls to send her packing. So now they've made a deal they wouldn't have othewise made.

It is talked about often on the twin cities board. If guys would send the girl packing the bait and switch would end. But as is often the case, we are our own worst enemy.

Might be that we over-estimate the percentage of hobbyists who are web-savvy and know of things like reviews, etc.  You may be able to drive enough traffic with an exceptional photo, coupled with the dominance of "little head" thinking, to make a viable short to medium-term business model.

with a highly respected agency is that they'll do anything to lure as many clients as possible.To hype, they'll describe some on TER as porn stars when they're not just to extort a higher fee.What's more it dumped all its MILFs(>40)for younger ones apparently b/c of a lower demand for MILFs.Go figure.....

Why does any business do b&s?  TO lure in customers they would not otherwise have.

In my case, I fell for a B&S operation that must have been using photos of great-looking models.  The girls I saw were OK, but I would not have seen them at all except for the come-on of the beautiful and sexy models.   Eventually I caught on and stopped seeing their girls, but meanwhile they made plenty of money they did not deserve.

BTW, I have not used the agency in a couple of years, but the photo of the girl I really wanted to see is still up there. i was tempted to try again, she is so much what I want, but thanks to what I have learned on TER, I resisted.

I've been taken this way as well. I just saw on the newbie board the pic of the girl I thought I was contacting for GFE. Imagine my surprise when someone totally different showed up.....it was my second venture into the "hobby". I was too scared to send her packiing and she had my money and was gone in about 10 minutes. I TOFTT but haven't bothered to offer a review, maybe I should.

In LV, land of 35 million tourists/year, the agencies thrive on "little head logic".  Even if none of those people ever use the agency again, next year brings a new crop of tourists.  Sad to say, it's a great business model.

Acidom is absolutey correct.  We have the same situation in Fl.  When a tourist calls an agency during our tourist season or a big even (boat shows, car shows etc)at 2a they aren't really too worried about who shows up at the door.  These girls seldom get sent away.

Too many tourist from all over the world come through here for their business to dry up.  Most of the gents that use these agencies don't know about sites like this.

So the agency has no reason not to B&S..they are still making plenty of money.  So what if the girl gets a bad review...the agency will just reinvent itself if it has to...which it seldom does down here

I guess i am one of the few guys in FL that only uses agencies and also TER.  I do agree that there are a few "fly by night" agencies but the ones I have used, always sent the girl I requested.  I must admit that I always did my homework here on TER before making a date to narrow the odds of being disappointed.

I have done it 3 times in the last month. In one case, it was a completely different girl (though she denied it). In another case, she simply looked worse in person and her place was off-putting.

In a third case, she started trying to change the rules and price when I tried to confirm what she told me on the phone. I pointed out that she had told me otherwise, and she said something like she was telling me different now. I simply said, "That doesn't work for me," and turned around and walked out. She was trying to retract or amend what she'd just said when I closed the door.

It's very liberating. You should try it if you haven't done it. If that happens a few times in a day, I suspect the tune changes.

If you order a 16 oz. T-bone steak and the server brings you a quarter pounder, what are you going to do?  You are so hungry you settle for the quarter pounder--I doubt it.  The big head should do the thinking.

idiot in the room with less (much less) than GFE and not been happy.  But, as said, I'm there, she's there and my small head just keeps on getting his way.  down side, no repeat from me.

my two cents worth on this topic are that agencies in the current market are dicey at best . . . gentlemen that is why TER is great because you can find REAL talent that offers QUALITY expereince and expertise from actual providers . . . turn down what you don't want and actively seek out wht you DO want . . . an nice completely satisfying time . . . if you are going to pay for steak . . . make sure you are eating steak . . . .

Being a newbie, I was comcerned that this gal had my home phone number, business phone number, and my real name. I was thinking, "If I piss her off, is she going to talk to the first female that answers the phone at my house and spill the beans?" What a horrible experiance...

If you have a picture of a woman who appeals to let's say 25 percent of guys, you get 25 paying customers.

If, however, you have a picture that appeals to 90 percent, then you get 90 calls.  Knowing guys, if only one third of them go through with the session, you then have 30 paying customers.  

At least, that's how it's reasoned, I'm sure.  Once the guy is horny, and she's there, he has some inclination to damn his disappointment and go ahead anyway.  Hell, for many, there's one thing worse than being disappointed, and that's disappointed and still horny.  

And let's say the word gets around.  Ever here of fly-by-nights?  They simply change their business name and start again.

I mean, they did not call her by that name, but let's face it - Avy has a distinctive look and is hot.  I am sure that everyone who saw that picture, but did not know who she is, called to set up an appointment.  Who did they get?  maybe someone really good and good looking, but it just was not Avy Scott.  They couldn't have helped but be disappointed.  

And while I agree with you about it being a numbers game, I would wonder what would happen if it were "outed" more.
