I know there's a risk but how many of you have received some sort of STD or STI from a provider? What was it? I'm most concerned about herpes since that one is for life. With a little medicine, the others can be cleared up. Also, are there certain providers that are more risky than others? I like to visit K-girls. BBBJs are pretty common with them. Are they more risky?
I've only gotten chlamydia one time. It was from a pretty dirty white girl who looked like she was pretty heavily into drugs. My big head knew better but my little head was running the show at the time. I usually go for CBJs but my little head is wanting to try bbbjtcim.
Frankly, I would be surprised if any other TER users would openly admit to it if they did catch something. Everyone likes to say that it's low risk, and your chances of catching something are probably higher with your avg civvie you meet at a bar, but chances are the amount of STIs in the hobby are likely under reported... At the end of the day, sexually transmitted diseases are just that, so either don't have sex, take the proper precautions or accept the risks.
As for herpes, I would think that is pretty rare from a BBBJs unless the provider had a cold sore. Remember, there are 2 types of herpes, 1-oral, 2-genital. According to CDC statistics, 50-80% of Americans have HSV1 (20-30% of them get recurring outbreaks), and it is supposedly possible for someone with HSV1 to spread HSV2 through oral sex if that person has a cold sore, which is usually pretty easy to spot. So either keep it to CBJ or take the risk and try to reduce your odds by knowing what to look out for...
In terms of providers, I wouldn't classify that there is any one type you should be more worried about, other than maybe street walkers and girls who look like they have obvious drug problems...
I test clean twice a year. Makes me question some of these STD propaganda.
Although I did get some minor infections. Got jock itch and strep, presumably from providers as the symptoms showed up a couple days later after meeting them, and I don't see very many often. The strep put me out commission for a while though, my autoimmune disease flared up from it.
And I just had the whole panel of tests done at my Dr.'s office. I decided to be forthcoming and tell him what I do in my spare time when he asked me why I wanted to be tested. He seemed fascinated and reminded me to always wear a condom and to "always" come in to get tested if that's the lifestyle I want. Before he left he asked "how much does it cost?" I gave him my best answer and said, but that's for each girl if you are doing a double it's that much for each girl. He looked perplexed and said that was an expensive evening. "Yeah, but it's a memorable one!" I said. He smiled at me, shook his head from side to side, and walked out.
