Granted, I was a metal mouth all through junior high so maybe I'm a little spoiled. I gotta say, though, I am forever grateful to my folks for coughing up the dough for that shit.
Jokes aside, my sibling and I begged our parents to let us get braces. We felt a little bad so we started saving our lunch money in order to help because the last thing I wanted was to go to high school with jacked up teeth (no offense to anyone).
Bad teeth don't really bother me. Then again, I haven't had to kiss anyone with bad teeth yet or haven't had anything happen for me to be really bothered.
I have busted teeth so no civie girl will date me. So now I have to rely on providers and hope one day my wit instead of my looks will charm the lady into marrying me.
It'll not only help your sex/love/social life, but you'll enjoy your food more and feel more confident and comfortable in your work. It's you. You deserve to look good, to feel good, and have some of the goodness in life. It's not too late.
Not only in terms of appearance (as important as that is), but in terms of being able to speak clearly, mouth odor, proper nutrition, and avoiding harmful bacteria that can lead to heart disease, good dental health is maybe the best health investment you can make in yourself.
Please brush 3 times a day, floss daily, use a gum massager, and see your dentist for a good cleaning and exam twice a year.
One of the things I thank my mom for now more than anything is nagging me to take care of my teeth. I do the same now with my kids and the ones I love.
A gap can be sexy and a little crooked here or there is no big deal. But to be honest stained, yellow, broken, etc. are turn-offs. I had extensive work done to make mine near perfect (but natural looking, not Donnie Osmond blinding white) and I'm glad I did; they weren't terrible but bad enough that I was self conscious about smiling for pictures. It's one of the best investments you can make in your appearance, and as Fish noted for your overall health as well. If you're trying to decide between fake teeth and fake boobs, it's teeth hands down IMO
I misunderstood zing. I took it as a perceived put down. So, to translate I do not put ladies down, especially over their choice of who they see, even if it disappoints me that I can not see several ladies here because of my age. OK now?
What I'm not understanding is how my age maximum has anything to do with orthodontics.

Since I have made a mess of this I will try another way. 1. I am thankful for being seen even though I got in the way of a right fist and lost a tooth. 2. I appreciate the work that goes into "her" good looks. 3. I do not bash ladies, even if I am too old to see any particular one. (you are not the only one). your body, your business. 4. I just totally misunderstood "zing
