One of the things which I love about TER is that people look out for each other's interests as a true community.  

When a new provider's ad hits the web, someone invariably TOFFT and then reports back on the accuracy of the ads.

One of the single most important things for me is the accuracy of the photos.  When a trusted reviewer states that the photos are accurate and representative, I heave a sigh of relief.  

But some of the review patterns confuse me.  I'm particularly talking about Asian providers here.  I notice that there are some spectacular photos out there on the ad sites and the reviews of the new girls frequently contain contradictory statements about the accuracy of their photos.

I will sometimes see the following for a provider with a handful of reviews:

1.  One or more guys saying that she is DEFINITELY the girl in the photos;

2.  One or more guys saying that she is "better" than the photos, which doesn't tell me if she is, in fact, the girl in the photos;

3.  One or more guys saying that she is not the girl in the photos.

Now, I know that it's sometimes difficult to tell whether someone is "the girl in the photos," particularly if that person is not from your ethnic/racial background, but....I really wish there were a stronger consensus among the reviewers as to whether they got bait-and-switched.

Maybe reviewers are getting decent experiences and don't care as much afterward, but I really really want to know, in advance, if the burger on the menu matches the burger on the tray.

I used CL before it became infamous and several women use "fake" pics.  To my luck, almost everytime the women look as good as to the fake pic.  Once, she was not even close as far as looks and I walked away.  For me, I am not a big pic person, especially the studio type, so my worry is if the girl is not in the pic, she is not LE, so I read the regional boards carefylly and listen to the guys who debate authencity.
