I wrote this letter to Backpage.com to tell them that In person verification is needed to prevent human traffickers and juvenilles from advertising. Backpage.com business practice gives the Attorney Generals excuses to harrass escort websites.  The AG threaten to extradite Craig list President. He finally took down the adult section. We do not need more excuses for government to take our liberty.  I hope you will write to Backpage.com and tell them to require verification so the AGs have less excuses. After Backpage.com, who is next?

1. All persons posting advertisement should sign a notarized statement that state they are not a victim of human trafficking and under 18 years old.

2. If possible, the person should go to a notary of public or a verification agent that certify in adult entertainment verification. Backpage.com should provide online training or seminar for persons to get their credentials. The verification agent can charge a small fee.

3. The advertiser present the verifier with a government photo ID with date of birth. The verifier verify the person is over 18, and the advertiser is the person in the advertisement photo.

4. Agencies should be required to get every employee who is posting photo in their advertisement verified.

5. The verifying agent should not allow someone to escort the advertiser in the verification process because the advertiser could be coerced into lying.  There could be two agent in the room that witness the transaction. A telephone should be provided incase the advertiser needs to call the police.

6. Once the form been notarize, the verification agent can fill out an online form notifying the advertisement agency that such person meets the requirement.

7. The form can be mailed or electronically transmitted. Once the advertisement agency recieve the form, then the advertisement can be posted.

No discrete provider is gonna go through all that hassle of just putting up an ad. Those reasons mentioned, its like saying, well, here is my J.O.B, lock me up right then and there will ya? If BP admins don't step up their game, then they'll be another victim of the Ex-Craig list. If companies don't learn from other companies and take suggestions and advices from the AG, then so be it. Who fault is it? Not the AG, its BP fault for not listening to them. There will always be other escort sites similar to BP popping up if BP will be taken down. You shouldn't be too concern about BP, its just a website, many more will follow. There will always be prostitutes, and there will always be companies that will exploit this hobby. Its like a food chain, bird eat grass, something eats bird, that thing take a shit, and grass grows all over again.

Oh, to your suggestions, its a bit silly. Really? You think those advices apply to real life situations? I agree with some aspects, but everything else is just ridiculous IMO.
