...it doesn't require much time at all. The most time consuming part is scrolling through all the P411 profiles looking for what you're in the mood for. Once you find that, checking TER is pretty quick. I've learned what to look for and just skim the reviews. The whole process probably takes no more than 15 minutes from identification to appointment request.

I normally speed read a guy's reviews to make sure we'd get along.
I rarely read reviews unless it is for that reason OR if someone is complaining about their review (or someone else's review).

I have to check & then sometimes double check once I think that a provider will be a good fit for me. There have been instances where the provider, when asked if she sees ladies, thought that I was a guy looking for a doubles thing. And still there are far too many ambiguous websites where providers don't clearly outline their preferences which leads to sometimes frustrating email exchanges. That in and of itself isn't really an issue, but it does get old after awhile.

All my studying occurs during my rigorous screening process. That includes reviews, posts if she's active, connective response to an inquiry, and websites. Interestingly enough, I rarely look at pics. If she gets by my screening process, we're going to have a good time regardless of what she looks like. I'm open to all body types, all races, all boob types, etc. None of that matters. What I'm looking for are the intangibles.  

Yep, plus back channel, tone and frequency of her posts here on TER, her P411 presence. Rule of thumb, if you do the same level of research you might on a new HD TV, you're probably off to a good start.

I always read reviews and comments from others before seeing a provider. If she doesn't have any reviews then I'll go on a recommendation from fellow hobbyists. I haven't had a bad experience going either way.

I look for successful encounters with high compatibility that will hopefully become repeats.  I find this way of hobbying infinitely more rewarding than notches on the bedpost.  I've a short list of wish to see providers winnowed down by the basics: attraction, rates within my budget, menu, cursory scan of reviews.  Once at the point of desiring a new encounter, perusal of reviews looking for the nuances that experience has taught me more often than not result in the compatibility I seek, is what I do.  Approaching in this manner usually brings the cream to the top.

Besides even though I have a VERY healthy appetite, my tastes are rather vanilla. Well not vanilla as in I prefer white girls, as I am very open to women of all races, colors and nationalities, I am just not much of a "freak". I like having a LOT of sex, but it's not very kinky and most of you would probably be bored with my reviews if I ever were to start writing them.

...it's more than just physical beauty. There are other things that are important as well. You mentioned a couple of them. In addition to kissing and BBBJ, I look for MSOG, DATY, and whether she's convincing in the illusion of passion. It doesn't take reading every review to determine these things. Plus the longer you're in this game, you develop a sixth sense about these decisions.

I would really rather a companion NOT read my reviews for any other purposes than screening.    

And most of my experiences have been great, because I do my homework.

At most, I'll make sure her profile matches my preferences and perhaps read 2 or 3 reviews I think are "representative".

of other reviewers over the years that seem to have similar tastes in providers as me.  When I am reading a few reviews to find my next new girl, I will give much more weight to a review written by one of the guys on this list.  I will read more reviews before seeing a provider if none of the reviews are guys on my list.  Otherwise, one to two reviews from guys I know is enough for me to decide yes or no.

Reviews and her website are like the operating manual.  It pays to do research.

Scanning a guy's reviews does come in handy. You can learn a lot about a person by what the say in their review. There are guys out there that always give extremely low scores (3-5's) and are very critical, yet they got the full time and got MSOG. I do not see those guys, which has happened 3 times thus far.  Actually if I had known the one guy I saw was such a critical, demanding person, I would have not seen him. He got through screening with P411 and some other information and lied about not being a member of TER. Yes, I have already denied him an appt since.

If a girl seems to have special skills that I enjoy, will read even more reviews to confirm that skill.  May even contact reviewers about their specific comments.  I am talking about unusual skills that go beyond the normal GFE.

If I am seriously thinking about seeing a given provider, I will read all of her reviews (or at least her 10 or 20 most recent reviews) to get a good idea of what our appointment might be like.

Because if I had to guess, you lease.  And probably German, so what's to research...

will be memorable.

Before I book, I skim the best and worst and a sample of all the more recent reviews. I look for subtle and not so subtle signs that she's not all she advertises to be. I'm not interested in the blow by blow of every review. For me it's the look, a personality (best from PMs or these boards, not reviews), then menu.

Reading the reviews voraciously because as a newbie they were a turn on. But they quickly got old and I learned that many women don't appreciate them. Now I skim the reviews. I decide who to contact now based on pictures and personality they show on their web site. Leading up to the date I check back to their web site and TER frequently to learn how to prepare...look for gift ideas...etc.
I like to see physical activity interests because I like to get physical before getting down to business.  
Took my last date rock climbing. I dunno, it may have caused more stress because she was running late and didn't really seem to relax until massage time.

Only a fool wouldn't read reviews, especially someone posting on discussion boards.  
I always read reviews and start with those submitted by "reputable johns" if and when  
they're avaliable, much like Mr. de lion advises. If not I read more to establish compatibility .

I do not really read reviews, just look at the number of reviews. When I first entered the hobby my reasoning was that a provider with over a certain number of reviews was probably real, and if she had a number of recent reviews, then I felt confident when I went to her website that the woman I was looking at was going to be the woman attending the date. Depending on how she wrote about her services she provided on her website, I had a good idea what to expect on my dates. Every time I have had a date, the provider was spot on in looks, and exceeded my expectations.
