Ok heres the situation. A provider whom I wanted to see was offering a review special. She always had good enough reviews and seemed like someone I would like. Went thru the session...she was a very nice person...we never clicked and she just didnt seem in to it...she tried but she just didnt have it.  Afterwards  I thought I would do a honest review and  talk about her short comings...but then felt guilty and didnt. She sent me an email...stating I owed her a review...so I told her I didnt feel comfy doing a review and did NOT mention it wouldn't be favorable. I offered to pay her the additional instead. She didnt like that idea and offered to see me again and reduced rate..no thanks.

Now question to the ladies...would you rather have a bad review or just let things pass. I still feel like I owe her the $ but not sure she will except it.

To be honest her review special price would be more in line of what she should be...even though I wouldnt see her again.  . I know the guys would like an honest review

It would be in violation of TER Policy and might even earn you a suspension and/or ban.

If you write a review for the lady both you and her may be banned from TER.

Offering specials or discounts, or getting them, for writing a review is a violation of policy and clearly a situation where a conflict of interests would be suspected. Take a look at paragraph's 13 an 15 of the guidelines.

from its guidelines for submitting a review:
13. TER has a policy against exchanging good reviews for favors (free or discounted meetings, etc.) or anything of value. (TER also has a policy against attempting to get free or discounted meetings, etc. by threatening a bad review.) Remember, you are trying to be help other members get the best bang for their buck, and fake or inaccurate reviews don’t do that.

That citation only speaks to "exchanging good reviews for favors." And even here, one has to assume they meant that the agreement was for a good review regardless of the actual experience. It's a poorly written regulation.

The OP makes it clear his dilemma and question to the girls is: does he write the honest negative review or none at all? No mention about writing a false one.

The question was directed at the ladies.

"Now question to the ladies...would you rather have a bad review or just let things pass. I still feel like I owe her the $ but not sure she will except it."

And at no time did I suggest or imply I or the lady had an agreement...GOOD review for a discount.

I posted what TER says about the issue simply so everyone interested would know. I'm not arguing for or against the OP whatsoever.
Personally, I'm in favor of accurate reviews, but this is an issue that has cropped up here forever.

The implication does exist that she offered you a discounted price in exchange for a good review. At this point, your best bet is to NOT post the review and if your conscience is bothering you, go ahead and pay the provider for the non-review price.

The risk of posting an “honest” review, given the shady circumstances leading up to it, is that the provider would blacklist you.

This has been discussed in the forums before. The general consensus (not sure if any of the admins also confirmed) has always been it doesn't matter what the review says. If a provider is offing any incentive for a review it is a violation.

It is just a case where the risk of a conflict of interest is too high and even the appearance is undesirable.

Just don't do it.

The OP's dilemma is resolved: the offer and any review written due to that is a violation. That is all he needs to tell the provider.

So all you got is us swinging dicks..

But you got your question answered, right?  Don't do it in return of a favor. Do it because you want to contribute to the TER ecosystem so it can help other members.

Not anymore.
Why did they leave?
We scare them away... I don't think so.
I must be the way the business works changes. Of course they were here for business.
But we would think they were here for fun and stuff.
Women are never in a place for men for fun.
They are not at a strip club for fun unless she went there with a guy or in a group.
They are not there at cam chat sites for fun.
Something changed in the business or TER failed at something.
But whatever.

Speak for yourself.
Stripclubs are one of my favorite pastimes, without the company of a guy or a group. To each her own.

is there and discounts for reviews presupposes on the part of the provider that the review will be positive.  I would imagine that in the whole history of TER, if there were instances of providers offering discounts for a bad review, the list would be short and their IQ's would be lower.  Lol

What did I miss in the original post? "She ... offered to see me again at a reduced rate..no thanks." Post the honest review. After all, that's why we're here. I disagree that the premise for the visit should mean that you don't post *any* review. Quite the contrary. Her special was a reduced rate for a review. Period. Under those circumstances, you'd think she would have been on her best behavior (perhaps the only reason why review specials shouldn't be allowed).

(since I gave "the ladies" several days...)

1. I doubt that any provider who already has at least a few good reviews would want a bad one.

2. contrary to the consensus, review specials are not forbidden by TER. If they were, one would think that they would have banned such language in Ads. Trading for GOOD reviews is, of course, not allowed.

2. I probably would have told her the "why", ie, that you didn't click.

3. It was more than generous of you to offer to return the discount. In my one similar experience, though she didn't ask why I didn't submit a review, I likely wouldn't have offered to pay the difference.

4. If you want to help out the guys with an honest review, wait a month and consider posting using your alias.

There’s risk here from the TER policy violation angle, and the black list angle.
He accepted a discounted rate in return for a good review. Why risk getting banned or suspended for a review?

It seems you might have conflated DNS and BL. He has no intention of seeing her again, but if she blacklists him, that means his name/number is broadcast to other providers in a provider only forum as a less than desirable monger.

The OP gains little from posting a review at this point, especially given the multiple risks he’s taking if he posts it.

(1) We read his post very differently:

She sent me an email...stating I owed her a review...so I told her I didnt feel comfy doing a review and did NOT mention it wouldn't be favorable.
There's nothing there other than an exchange of services for a review, any review, good or bad. Even her email only asked for the review that I agree he owes her. I'll admit to feeling that the OP is leaving something out, but we only have what he told us to go on.

(2) Yeah, I thought the BL was for her, her POs, or whatever. I don't know her setup. I'm not liking that they maintain a BL across providers for petty issues. I can see where if a customer caused bodily harm, theft, or another crime, providers should be able to share that info. Business disagreements, no at all. Like I said, I don't like that.

(3) I'm just a stickler for reviews, *and* he took svcs in exchange for one. (BTW, I've never even heard of review-specials.) I agree he has little to gain by it, but the rest of us do. However, the more I know about how TER works, the more inclined I am to agree there's actually risk to him of an inconsistent reaction from them, something along the lines of "we deal with these matters on an individual case basis." All I know about the applicable rule(s?) is what you posted. I think somebody else said there were two that applied.

Note: Funny, though, that he thinks she wouldn't take his money. No?? That must be some kind of special relationship!

I would rather know then not know. Recently someone posted I seemed bored with him since our last session but he also mentions he crosses lines he should not have that he did not want to pay for. Usually the review tells a lot about the reviewer as well as the reviewed. When I read the review I reevaluate what I am doing and ask myself if it's true and if I need to change something. I also ask the next 10 people I see what they think and people who have seen me for years. Once I have drawn a conclusion I choose how to proceed forward. Usually people who try to get a discount in the beginning honest end up trouble not just in escorting but in many other things I have come to the conclusion. Maybe the person you saw might evaluate like I do but you never know. Sometimes we need a wake up call. I enjoy what I do so much sometimes I get lost in it and forget the pleasure of the other person.
