There is a situation where a provider has just posted new pictures of herself that have to be years old (or severely doctored) She has received several compliments on them but the woman I saw last month must at least five years older than most of these photos. Note she is in her late thirties and the pictures resemble someone no more tan early thirties. What is the board's opinion on exposing(if that is the word)new pictures that are misleading. How can this be best handled? In the interest of full disclosure, the provider is well regarded. I saw her a year ago and gave her a great review. This time things in the looks department had changed. Then I find, SURPRIZE, new drop dead pics on the website which are not representative. How best to handle this? I do like her but feel this is false advertising and would like people to know what you see is not what your going to get.

I would try to talk to her first, not publicly, and if she didn't put a disclaimer about the pics being old, or remove the misleading pics, then submit a problem report. Perhaps an update on your review and state in it that the pics are old.

I would ask the provider if those pics were doctored, in any way, and see what her response would be. I also just had pics taken about a week ago by my webmaster, and I was luckily enough to have my best friend wildlinda there (another escort), who would be able to verify when/where/and at what time they  were taken.  I just added them up on my site, this past weekend. Anyone can tell that it is still me, plump and all (thank god for being a bbw lol). But, if you ask her nicely, maybe she will respond back with a polite answer. Maybe they are her, taken in a different lighting, etc. If you truly feel that may be the case that she went from a size 2 to a size 22, then yes, I would contact her..

given that women have been playing these tricks for eons, whether with makeup (flattering lighting, clever poses, belly scarfs, whatnot) or with airbrushing and nowadays the miracles of photoshop, my policy is to just let her live her dream. there does come a point where it just breaks down.

i EXPECT a little fudge-factor with every girl i'm about to see (that's why my last review was such an uplifting surprise). if you feel you have to say anything, be subtle.

IMHO, "exposure" or "outing" a lady is only 100% justified for performance not looks. and by performance i mean a consistent pattern of providing sub-par service (often resorting to false advertising or lies) and of course being a ripoff.

if you believe the results of the TER survey, 7 out of 10 men prioritize performance over looks anyway.

When you review her ... then state just that ... her pics are not accurate ... "swim at your own risk" .... This is a major problem and your not the first ... I know of many providers that state that they've just turned 21 ... funny thing is that the pics and banner have been up at least 6 years ... imagine that ... hobby safe, hobby well, hobby all you can be ........

..why do you feel the need to do anything at all, or say anything? You've already seen her, and how she looks - and can decide what you want to do for yourself. I think most pictures look differently from the person in person. Now, DRASTICALLY different is another thing..but if you say it's THAT much different, it may 'catch up' with her eventually and do her more harm than just being more honest would have been. How it affects her will cause her to make some changes on her own, I'm sure.
Maybe in your review you can subtly mention that although you realize that pictures rarely look the same as the person - better or worse - you felt that there was quite a difference and leave it at that.
If someone PM's or emails you to be more specific, you can always suggest that if interested in seeing her, you might want to see if the lady will agree to meet for a drink, for $50, to see if they are compatible first, before making the date. Certainly nothing wrong with that - nobody loses; everybody wins, and you're not a bad guy.

Sure, that's reasonable, and I might, as well.  But that's not what was suggested.

I mention that, as, in many posts, as well as on websites, that's what I see mentioned. To meet with them ahead of time is $50 - for their time, etc.

Now, as far as wanting to 'forewarn' other hobbyists, I think my suggestions will serve well for them all.
So, the next Hobbyist comes along, reads the review, sees the mention of pictures not looking quite the same, and so he wonders and PM's the other guy who says how he felt. He listens, thinks well, she has good reviews, he said he enjoyed his time and only issue was the picture thing, so maybe I'll invite her for a drink and see what I think...
This works really well. The $50 is just a commone practice we've all seen in posts, and on ladies' websites and so I mention here..doesn't mean you have to - whatever works, or whatever her policy is. I dunno..

However, appearance used to correlate with price lots better than performance. I suspect that it is the influence of TER reviews that is changing the situation.

but seriously ... interesting indeed. i'm new to TER, but knowing what i know about the internet community, i was almost convinced that SOMEONE wouldn't be able to resist the temptation of doing some kind of statistical analysis and/or data-mining on TER's database ... LOL


that said, i would hasten to add the following hodge-podge of observations

1. your sample is (as you acknowledge) geographically biased. LA is probably the one place in the US (next to South Beach) where "beauty" is prized above all else (even without the PSE factor)

2. the value of rho = ~0.6 for all 3 correlations is a bit weak. as is the ~$1 margin between what a provider earns for appearance vs. performance (but still high enough to be notable)

3. i think what would prove most illuminating is a multivariate data visualization on the TER database (with thumbnails of the girls used as icons!  ROTFLMAO


as for myself, i'll say that all THREE factors are important to me: appearance, attitude & performance (note the distinction between attitude and performance). at the same time, since i'm not on TER to win a popularity contest, i have no qualms about stating openly that i hobby for exceptional BEAUTY and YOUTH! (mainly cuz the converse is all too readily available in the civilian population)
