I started an agency in Tampa.   The goal is to be a place where both hobbyists and
providers feel safe and satisfied.  In the spirit of that goal, I am curious what it is
that providers and hobbyists especially want from an agency.  

I am NOT trying to recruit providers, just want you to tell me your good and bad experiences
with agencies in general.  I know you are independent for a reason, all the ladies in our
agency are here by their own choice because it makes the most sense for them personally.

Hobbyists, what attracts you to, or turns you away from agencies?  other than the look of
the women of course.  what experiences have you had with agencies that you would
like to see replicated or bad experiences that has left a bad taste in your mouth.

Professional photos are ok and preferred as long as it's not blatantly photo-shopped.

I walked out on a girl a few times because her photos were too old or photo shopped beyond belief, it would have been nice if the agency manager handled it more professionally rather than getting all hysterical blaming it on the client for walking out.  Placing the client on a DNS list for walking out is really unreasonable... (this has happened to many folks that I know around my area) and bad for business because this agency in question lost a string of men who would have otherwise spent thousands of dollars over the year with them.

Most of us are reasonable gents yet we pay good money and expect quality service.  As long as the ladies are as advertised, and the booker takes care of their clients in the even that things don't work out, there wouldn't be much of a problem, imho.

Here are a few from the girls side:
-don't lie about your background and experience when hiring (don't say 10 years of experience if you have none)
-be honest about the quality of the clients (don't call them "upscale" if they show up drunk to appts, etc)
-don't try to micromanage the more experienced girls (e.g. "what are you wearing"... )
-don't just throw the inexperienced ones into a room with someone, either train them or set them up with someone for training
-don't try to sleep with the girls under the pretense of "training"
-don't be vindictive and set appts only for the girls that sleep with you
-don't be a pimp (don't be rude, threatening, etc)
-don't set appointments back to back (if you want your girls and your clients to be happy, always give them half an hour between appointments)
-don't send anyone up to the room without letting the girl know
-don't ignore a girl's request to not see a client again (there is always a reason, none of us wants to lose money, so you best believe he was a jerk / bad hygiene / etc)
-do value the girls and say so
-do meet every girl in person to make sure she looks like the photos
-do treat the girls fairly and make sure that they make at least as much money as you do (60-40 split is the best I've ever had with an agency, which is why I'm independent now)

yeah what you said.. Damn you said everything I was thinking. I have used an agencies before and I have pretty much encountered all that in negative ways. that is why I stick with indies. But I think my 2 most important are real pics hate bait and switch and NO up selling when I am told the price that should be the price for services promised.

When I arrive on time to get the room number, pick up the phone without it going to vm, and the girl should be ready and waiting.

To address Exangencygirl first, I think your list is the one list that I can safely say I am adhering to all your pointers.  The ladies are the business and they dictate to me what they will or will not do and I try discreetly to convey that to the clients.  They also have the right to refuse any appointment if the client is visibly impaired.  I tell my booker to stop taking calls after 11pm because I dont want the drunks calling for a quick fix.  Just not a good situation to put a lady in.  Do I want to make money? for sure, but not at anyones expense.  I am approaching this from a hobbyist standpoint.  I want all the ladies to provide service that I wanted when i was calling ladies.

To the guys, most of the stuff you list I do.  But some things I dont.  perfect 10 girls?  I have yet to find one in life, and I dont mean that I havent found absolutely gorgeous women, but perfect 10?  that is a bar that I dont think is achievable.  I think all my ladies are great looking and I have my own personal bias on who I think is the most attractive, but thats just it, its personal.  

I want every client to leave happy and every lady as well.  In that sense I am all about customer service, "TO A POINT"  I made it my goal to meet each lady personally and have trust that they are going to level with me about a client.  Would i put someone on a DNS list?  only after they exhibited the behavior with more than one of the ladies.  Ill give everyone the benefit of having 1 bad day, when it becomes a habit then its not a bad day, you just have a bad attitude.

girls with full menu's is dicey.  I dont expect the ladies to do anything they arent comfortable with and I try to make sure the client expectations are in line with the services being offered.  Had a client today tell me that he is really into kissing and the girl he was interested in prefers not to,  I let him know and gave him alternative ladies that are into kissing.  I dont want a pissed off client and I dont want an unhappy lady either.  As long as the clients knows whats on the menu and the girl delivers it in a GFE or PSE as requested, I have no issue with the menu not being complete for all the girls.

Sounds like you have the right idea.  If this is the way you conduct business and continue to do so it should work just fine. I would use your agency as it is described here.

Besides the flowery prose, please include:
Recent photo showing the face
Photo showing the body type and/or height and weight
Height
Incall location, as in major cross street
Price

THis is what I care about.  The 'come hither to experience true bliss... blah blah blah...' verbiage is quite secondary.

Service. Say what you do and do what you say. That's it for any business, it doesn't matter what.

Have a variety of girls.  Different ages, body types, ethnicities etc....

Good agencies provide accurate descriptions of looks, weight, figure, age, don't play bait and switch, if they don't have the lady that I want I am told so, providers from the agency deliver expected services for the agreed fee, GFE means just that, ladies are on time and have good personal hygiene.

Bad agencies lie about descriptions, do some or a lot of bait and switch, have their ladies pull the fee is just for the agency routine then try to upsell, runs late on appointments as a routine, ladies have bad hygiene or smell of cigaretts.

I am some what price insensitive. I will pay a reasonable fee to see exactly the woman that I desire to see. Independents and/or agencies that deliver consistently for me get my business.

Perfect 10 means different things to different men. For me, a perfect 10 is a young Heather Locklear or Bo Derek. A great date for me is a young GFE blonde that turns heads on a city street. A perfect 10 for another hobbyist may be an African American woman, or a Hispanic woman, or a heavy set woman. The key is that when a potential customer describes what he is looking for, if your agency does not have it, say so and don't waste his time. Agencies that get a solid list of hot providers that cover the spectrum of what men want and are honest with clients become high volume earning agencies. I am one that don't want to pay for a woman of a caliber that I can get for free in the civvy world.

I have no clue why agencies want more than a 30% split of a provider's fee. For agencies that have travelling ladies, let the provider pay airfare and hotel room, handle the calls for a 25% split. If you do a job of getting ladies that customers want to see and get many of those ladies on staff, you can run a 12 hour per day, seven day business with high hourly volume and make plenty of money, while the ladies also earn plenty.

Lastly. Understand the market that you want to serve. Don't offer common providers for big dollars for men that expect to see model quality providers for large money. I know that I don't mind spending $500-$1000 per Hr on a lady that meets my requirements, but don't expect me to come back if you present a lady that does not meet my looks, hygiene or performance expectations.

Do not give incall locations until a client is confirmed and on his way. Ladies have lives outside of the hobby, some do not want their face clearly shown. But if pictures are taken at angles that give a hobbyist an accurate idea of what he is getting, those should suffice. Tricks with camera angles to hide excess weight or age should be avoided at all costs. I agree with the poster on the flowery language. Simple information about the lady in one paragraph or less is adequate. Once I meet her, I can delve into knowing her and what her goals are.

You sound a little arrogant saying that girls who worked for other agencies have bad habits.
You're also saying independents are thieves. Not nice.
