It is kind of a limbo area between active providers and delisted providers. The question has been asked many times on the newbie board, with lots of speculation but no real answer until DBA actually adressed the issue:

and still remain active with TER and also have number ratings?

ratings should be gone too. The link from her handle to her reviews would say "this provider profile is no longer available."

There is some goofy stuff happening with TER coding the past few days like:

1. The removed profile of a retired provider was available on the classic site but removed on the new site.

2. London Rayne's response in the thread below, when clicked on, actually opens the response by MsDynamite to a post in the thread below that.

Odd stuff

Both of those things you mentioned have been happening for at least a year.
There have been many many instances of clicking on a post and you end up on another post by a different poster on another thread.

And profiles that have been delisted on new TER still being available on classic TER has happened a lot too.

Maybe that is why mrfisher and bigpapsan refuse to make the switch. LOL

In that case her contact info remains as well as the average scores, but everything else from the profile is removed.

I had no idea there was such a thing as a provider with something to hide list.
