Human trafficking is alleged almost every time a hooker who is not an independent is busted, and sometimes even then if she is not American born and bred.
The Asian agency that an Ex GF of mine worked for was busted a year or so ago, and they too were charged with "human trafficking" even though there was ZERO evidence to support the charge, I know for a FACT that none of the girls were trafficked as I spent almost every night eating, drinking, and just hanging out with the girls as they were friends of my GF, AND the charges of human trafficking were eventually dropped for a complete lack of evidence.
BUT she was still charged with the crime, and people like you will still point to the arrest as proof that Asian agencies and AMPs engage in trafficking.

There is nothing terribly newsworthy about arresting consenting adults, having sex behind closed doors for money. Now create a victim, or better yet an entire class of victims, and create a bogeyman at the same time, someone EVERYONE will love to hate, and NOW you've got something that will sell newspapers, or ad time, or whatever it is that pays the bills.
