Recently a provider I see frequently, told me I could use her real name during sessions.  At first I was taken back and didn’t believe her but she showed me her drivers license as proof.  I realize this is a big leap of trust on her part and a situation like this doesn’t happen frequently or at all.  

No, and I don't think I personally would do it. Since she offered and is fine with it, go on ahead.

There are guys that I have seen for years. They still call me Shai and will continue to. I agree with the others that she feels comfortable with you. Just make sure you only use her real name when you are with her meaning don't tell anyone else! shhhhh!  

A few know my name and have even been around my family, but I have known them for many years. It's a rarity for me to do that and it requires a lot of trust and a huge comfort level. I prefer to keep the hobby and my personal life separate.

mentioned in conversation the family name and business . I'm sure we've crossed paths IRL in that business .

...there are many reasons why. As said above, don't overthink it.  

A few do, most don't.  Clients I've traveled with do. It's not a super deal breaker what's the difference if my name is Alyssa, Ali, Jessica etc.  If I'm out on a date especially in Chicago it's likely I will run into at least one person I know so it's good that I have a story and my date can play cool.

I once asked a lady what name to make out on the check. She said her friends call her "Cash."

Not because they think I am so trustworthy, but because they know I care so little about things like this I will most likely forget both their hooker and real name twenty minutes after the session is over. lol

I have known the names of at least 8 providers that I can think of quickly.  Much more private info also.  Home towns, kids names. facebook addresses, parents names, and more.  Must be my honest face.    bigdell

Today's client can become tomorrow's stalker. There are times when a gal does need to give up some real info like in the case of traveling with a guy but those situations are not the norm.

I think it's important to maintain the provider/client p4p perspective when in a session. There's a few providers who!ve given me their real names, but I use those only outside of sexual play situations, i.e. just talking as friends.  I think it helps minimize the chance of complications. It seems to work, for me at least.

I would not read into at all. She seems like a sweet women (provider) that just wants you to know her name. She probably feels super comfortable with you. Just take it as a compliment.

I consider it an honor to be trusted with that info and never EVER use that real name in emails, texts or telephone conversations.  In the privacy of a session where its just us two alone, sure, but never where it could accidentally get out.  Those names go to my grave in my head and written no where and only used in person.
