Especially when sending a response?

Is that a result of the new format or are the servers overloaded for some other reason?

I'm starting to get used to this but not being able to see the size of a thread and who is on it, etc makes the board a lot less interesting.  It's a pain to have to open up each individually to see what is happening.

It's not because of the most recently posted message because I just checked that out.

They seem to be going up in a helter-skelter fashion which makes it very hard to find anything.

TER now works better in IE, Chrome or Safari.  Using Firefox, TER has major lag time for me.
