Is to keep VIP status?

 For self gratification?

 For me it's all of these but mostly the later as I do appreciate others who write reviews in a honest way to help me make a good choice also. How about you?

If I let someone know what's in store, then I hope to get the return.  Not to say I've been disappointed every once in a while, but it happens.  Just like movies.  Sometimes the review nails it, and sometime I wonder what bag of crack they smoked.

This point was brought up before, but I look for waaaay  too many 10/10's.  That's a flag for me.  

I appreciate the ability we have to check out each other's reviews.  If I see someone with a similar list of mutual providers, I'm more likely to put some credibility in what they say.  And it also gives me a jumping off point if I want to expand my horizons beyond were my tastes take me.  

I guess I review the Review, and review the Reviewer.

I had to admit it wasnt all altruistic.  

It kinda cements the experience for me if I have a little account of the time I had.

But I'm really active as far as reviewing restaurants, etc, and I've always done it because a) I want other people to know how awesome my experience was, and b) I want the business to do well so they get the business needed to stay open and amazing. I've always wondered, though, why men here review us, so, great topic. I look forward to the answers.

... is why I do it. Having said that I try and be informative. I let people know what's on the menu. Anything out of the ordinary, good or bad I always mention. One thing I do not do is write a little porn story starring me. Back channel info has been helpful to me in the past and I always respond when someone asks me for help.

Frank was flying from L.A. to Australia on business and was asleep when the plane went down.  Somehow, like Tom Hanks in Cast Away, he survived the crash and floated up on an island somewhere in the South Pacific.  He discovered luggage and even some crates of foodstuffs had come ashore, too. As he walked the shoreline exploring the island he found that Scarlett Johannsen had survived the crash, too and was also trying to get her bearings.  

They learned that the island was uninhabited but had lots of fruit growing.  They worked together to build shelter and gather food while they waited for rescue.  Weeks and months went by without being rescued and both of them having bonded over their experience and being healthy humans began to have sex with each other.  Scarlett was happy to learn that Frank had had a vasectomy so that pregnancy was not a risk.  Once they started they were making love to each other every day.

Except self gratification, I do enjoy re living the experience. I was not aware that writing reviews can enable me to keep VIP status. I'll add that a provider can read your reviews to get an idea if the two of us will be a good fit. Perhaps there's a common thread in my reviews that she does or does not enjoy. A wonderful provider I have met through TER told me she had read my reviews and she was confident that we would get along just fine, that was kind of cool to see she sort of researched me.

1) I love to write and enjoy putting down my recollections, then being able to refer to them if I see her again.
2) Free VIP is nice, but I have more than 500 days, so it's not that big a motivator.
3) To help guys who might want to see her.  I was helped a lot by reading reviews when I started and feel obligated to share my info.
4) If a girl wants a review I'm happy to help her that way.
5) Not to make it easier to see more girls.  I haven't reviewed in a while because I'm seeing mostly girls I've already seen and reviewed, or girls in Costa Rica who can't be reviewed here.

The self gratification part.  When I first started out in this realm, I was very much trying to fly below the radar, so I did not write any reviews.  My first reviews were not that great as the experience was not as good as I expected, so I decided I should write a review to help the next guy and get VIP so I could do more research next time.   Over time, I got more comfortable with it.  Was nice to relive the experience by writing it out, nice to help the provider out if deserved and/or pay it forward to my fellow hobbyists who's reviews have helped me out.

I was just with a gal who told me she'd read that a particular thing really turned me on, and she wanted me to know it turned her on, too.  We played a guessing game about it, then we did it.

But lately I've felt it is really to keep a log of my experiences.  Of course, the reviews are written stylistically to inform others of how the session went, but personally I enjoy the process of documenting my date and remembering all the good things that happened.

Also, I know the provider may read my review as well so I want her to know what I thought of the date.

...and build my writing portfolio to land my dream job as a writer for Penthouse Forum.

I often lose my VIP status, so I'll write a review to read juicy VIP details and stats, etc.  

As well as getting VIP status, I write the review to help others, just like I do when I write a review on Amazon and more recently on Yelp.  I don't take into consideration if I'm helping or hurting the provider or the business because I'm not powerful or influential.  Although, I heard that one of my reviews may have helped out one provider's business a while back.

I write about my experiences.  If that helps a reader of my review make a better informed decision to book, buy or not, then another mission accomplished.  After all, I read reviews from others to assist me.  TER wouldn't be very much if people didn't write reviews.  

In addition, I do enjoy writing.  Though I really need to make more of an effort to write more non-reviews.  Doh!

Someone stated that the reviews are a log of his hobby experiences.  I never intended my reviews to be that way for me, but it has indeed.  Sometimes I re-read my reviews recalling a wonderful time with a sexy person and it's enjoyable to a certain degree.

4. To make it easier to see more girls? - Definitely Plus/Minus here.  I think I tend to get VIP treatments from newbies since the bookers tell them I'm a reviewer.  However, I think that's also kept me from seeing certain providers.

...felt like she provided excellent service and others would enjoy the experience with her. I also did it because it gives credibility when here. Now I continue to review but VIP is no longer a motivator. I pay for it now. I do it to contribute info for others doing research when seeking a provider. I never thought it made it easier to see more providers but I can see how it could. I do like that a provider can use them to see what I like and how I am in a session. She can check with the providers I've seen. I think there is some self gratification involved I do like going back and reading them on occasion. Overall though my concern when writing one now is to pass along information to others.

and also serves as a wonderful reminder of the fun times I have had.  Reading the details and looking at the pictures of the provider I had all that steamy fun with, makes me smile and feel like the luckiest bastard in the world.  Damn, it's good to be the king...even if it is just for a couple of hours here and there.

Remember THAT discussion? I'd love to read how she didn't have any O's but had me snowed so badly I came all over her ass. How she wished I had taken the full 20 minute shower instead of that 10 minute "shortie". How my hairy old body with age spots grossed her out so much she had to close her eyes the entire time while making me think I was bringing her to the edge of nirvana. How I got my slimy spit all over her pussy and she had to double-wash it to feel clean again.

We review you for two reasons - 15 days of VIP (very important to catch up on that months-long backlog of PMs) and to garner favoritism with overly inflated scores so she'll think highly of us and give us extra special treatment next time.

Oh... and sometimes to help her get more business but that's really an extension of the second reason above

An event occurring from a parent teachers conference when I was in the 4th grade effectively shunted my early discovered delight in creative writing and "writing' in general. My teacher at that time had initiated a "creative writing period" time a couple times per week. And those who wished could read their attempts at literary prose out-loud too the class.  

   I discovered great joy in applying the long suffered and boring alphabet, spelling and punctuation exercises into expressing my fascination with the imaginative subject matter of horror movies and what today would be defined as "splatter films". And too my added delight my male peers were entertained and lauded me for my efforts. Our teacher however was not amused by my choice of subject matter and soon forbid my reading of my fictional prose aloud any further. When the censorship imposed on me caused dissent amongst my classmates the teacher called a conference with my parents.  

   My parents came home the evening of the aforementioned conference and informed me that if I did not cease writing about the things I did they would "send me away" to a "Reform school". This threat from my parents effectively scared me numb, and forever turned me off from school and the formal educational system all together. During junior and senior high I penned a couple of ribald vignettes and short stories for the enjoyment of a few chums; but mostly drudged through my academic days simply wishing too graduate from the "system" so I could put it all behind me.

   In my mid twenties I by happenstance found myself volunteer writing a monthly fictional serial column for a limited circulation political newspaper; but after the paper closed down again my 'passion' was laid to rest.

  25 years later the discovery of TER and its reviews as well as these discussion boards again awoke and gave positive re-enforcement for the passion my 4th grade teacher and otherwise well intentioned parents had long buried.

   I thank you for suffering through my arguably maudlin muse and the probable grammatical errors within. I wish my academic experience had been one that would have encouraged my writing and its refinement rather than debase and punish it.
