I went to Loma Linda in California for Prostate radiation treatment. Cancer is gone, NO side effects, NO change in hobbying, in fact I played more than ever throughout my treatment! Surgery is NOT the only answer! Learn about your options!

That I've been seeing furiously over the past couple weeks, blowing through some cash reserves on a tight time schedule.  I have a medical issue that may bench me sexually.  Basically, right now I can screw but not come.

I have warned in advance all of the ladies that I have been seeing of this issue and they all have been extremely supportive.  Since I see the doc for the final diagnosis and treatment next week, I have a deadline to beat and have been seeing my favorites at a furious rate.  Every one has essentially thrown the clock out the window (as far as possible), tried their utmost to overcome the situation (seeing it as a professional challenge, I think) and has been incredibly supportive of helping to make the session as enjoyable as possible.

My favorites (and you can probably guess who you are even though I'm using an alias) have provided a tremendous psychological and comforting boost when I really needed it.  And it wasn't in your job description.  You just naturally did it.  Thank you.

I post this not just to thank these ladies, but to show that as clients, we aren't renting slabs of meat, regardless of some of the "macho" BS that gets thrown around here.  These are ladies who are people with feelings, people who are doing a difficult job that my psyche couldn't do, and they have kept their humanity intact.  Regardless of the financial arrangements, providers should be treated better and with more respect than they have been on this board.

But don't mistake the ramblings on a board as to how any john is going to treat a gal.

When a reply is posted more often than not it has nothing to do with her BCD.  But stupid posts receive the appropriate replies here.  It doesn't matter if the poster is a hooker or john.

Perhaps you don't realize the number of gals that post (and have posted) that receive nothing but positive interaction here.  Conveniently myopic of some of the guys here.

In fact, it rarely happens.  And it's never, ever organized.  The fact is, there's a group of people who've been around awhile, know this game pretty well and see it the same way.  Thus, we respect each other's views.  So when someone comes here with an attitude, or views we consider foolish or uninformed, that person is likely to get flamed by some or all of us.  For them, it's easy to hide behind the myth that we're a bunch of bullies trying to control this board.  Actually, no ones trying to "control" anything, except keeping the propegation of stupidity to a minimum.

Group of people who've been around a while certainly like to point out dumb ass comments from posters who need to wake up. This is done in order to defuse the propagation of stupidity. I agree that it isn't ever organized by any clique and never intended to be a bullying macho bs. The guys who know this game pretty well happen to see things the same way.

I also seriously doubt that the guys who post macho stuff or sound like a drunk alcoholic on the boards actually mistreat any ladies.  In fact, I highly doubt the guys who have been around a while would still be around using the same handle if that were true. Familiar handles have been around a while precisely because they've been doing something right and haven't gotten into any major issues.

I only speak for myself but I NEVER show up drunk unless the girl made me wait more than an hour or if we had been drinking together.  I'm clean as hell and respectful of the ladies as hell and I treat em well as hell. Oh hell, I'm a GAAH and that's just how I roll.

Just to be asses. It is not like we can't tell the difference and in reality, your "stupid" is someone elses "no problem".

But seriously, in fact I don't post "just to be an ass."  If you follow my posts you'll see that when someone puts up a reasonable (to me) question I'll respond in a civil way and be as helpful as I can. But there are also people here who are well known trolls, idiots or BSCs, IMHO.  If they put up a stupid or obnoxious post I'll give them a jab.  Sometimes others of like mind will join in, sometimes not.
But let's take Roddy and Ms. Steele for an example.  If you look at posts the each put up you'll find many times I don't comment at all.  In Roddy's case, while he hasn't exactly turned into an Einstein, the percentage of his posts that are truly stupid has declined.  They are still fairly lame but not to the point where I'd bother trying to start something.  As for Tardlor, I've simply grown bored with her and she's also put up a few reasonable posts which have lacked her usual annoying condescension and know-at-all attitude.  So, again, I just move on.
And, no, it's not so simple as my "stupid" is someone else's "no problem." If that were the case then why do the so-called bullies usually agree on what's stupid? Besides, it's a discussion board. We're supposed to be giving our opinions here.  And that's all I'm doing.  And will continue to do.

Good luck with what you are dealing with.
If it what I think, I hope treatments work well and God speed to you.  One day most of us guys will be probably facing this same thing if we live long enough.

I firmly believe that every guy should be treating the ladies with the utmost respect and kindness.  There is no way some of these guys would ever let a companion know what handle they post under, lest they get totally cut off forever.

keep strong, UTBB!

and it has NEVER been a problem for me, as CPA pointed out the number of women who get abuse here is a very tiny fraction of those women that post.

Just as I always do as well, since I don't have anything to be worried about.
Just because we do not have problems, doesn't mean others would not be concerned with their alias' being known to the world

It does establish some credibility and on the off chance it's some pissy hooker who can't stand GaGambler, it could save us both the aggravation. So far though, that hasn't happened. That is, it hasn't happened "that I know of"

My PSA has spiked and have previously mentioned symptoms.  Hopefully just prostatitis or something, but  if I have to get it removed, can be side effects that could bench me sexually.  Unsettling at best, especially the waiting to find out.  Some scary shit over on the over-60 board.  I had no idea that it was prostate cancer was so common, and almost inevitable as you hit the 60's, then 70's. etc.  Getting old sucks, but the alternative sucks worse.

In the meantime, I'm trying hard to get in as many memories of glorious sex with beautiful, young ladies as I can.  I see a fairly small group of ladies, but am consistently impressed with them as standup people.  I've known them long enough that there isn't any facade any more.   Just about wore little dickie out this week, gonna need a few days off before I see my regular next week, the day before I find out what needs to be done.

Certainly spending more than I can afford, but YOLO, and you ladies deserve it.

Pretty aggressive in treatment options, and never look to the knife until absolutely life-saving necessary.
Best of luck!!

If you undergo radical prostatectomy, go robotic, not traditional.  Find a doctor who's done a lot of them.  Mine was closing in on 2000.  I had to switch urologist to find him, but believe me, I never even called my old urologist back (he'd done about 150).

You sound like you are scaring yourself with horror stories, most outcomes are much better, though you have to be a pretty active part or recovery.  Kegels!  Also, my surgeon said "use it or lose it." as he handed me the vacuum pump.  Between that and porn, I got a lot of practice in.  Believe it or not, I am allergic to Viagra and Cialis, but if you're not, you'll become familiar with the blue pill, too.

You have to get to know your own body better, and it helps if you have an ATF that will pick up where you left off after the surgery.  Consider her part of your recovery, too bad she's not going to be a reimbursable expense.  You'll just have to live with the fact that its an "out of pocket" expense.

continue to enjoy the many women whose company you have enjoyed previously.

Yes, the good providers do provide more than just sex.

Prostate removal?  My guess is that's where this is headed.  Dry ejaculations are one thing, but prolonged urinary incontinence?  No way I would see a woman like that.

And remember even if life and your physical body isn't the same you CAN still enjoy women, romance and intimacy.

There's a reason there's a BIG gap in my reviews and it ain't because I found a sugar daddy, lol.

And your post is beyond touching. I actually got a lump in my throat.

xoxo,

Steph

I'm glad that it touched you.  Not afraid to say that I had a lump in my throat writing it.  You ladies are much appreciated by most of us.  I hope that the abuse on the boards might go down just a bit as a result.

What others have said. I do not know your situation or area but I have two family members that work in a cancer center. As others have said, get a second opinion from a second medical practice. Find a support group. See your Doctor privately and be honest about sex. Avoid the knife unless two doctors recommend it. You use TER so use the internet to find doctor ratings. Remember, you are the customer and they are the provider, ask questions and expect answers you can understand. I can not imagine how you feel but take a deep breath, now relax, and take charge, it is your money, your body, and your life. if your doctors can not respect that, get new doctors. But give them at least two chances, a participating patient usually shocks the ones I know so much it takes a second meeting to calm everyone down and proceed.  About that support group, your out look means more now than it ever has. best too you, I really hope you have the success that others I know have.
