What I have found in the past with civvie relationships and talking to friends about their marriage issues is women want us to listen !!!   That's right listen to your lady!!  We are guys and want to fix everything or any problems.  Women just want us to listen not help them fix issues, drama, or problems they might face.   If they ask for advise, by all means give it.   But if they don't ask just listen.  If you do that your relationship or marriage will have a chance

Only nice guys say that. You know, those who finish last. ;-) Girls have their bff's or their therapists to talk to. What girls want from men is security/stability (especially financial) which is initially manifested in confidence. What you're referring to as "listening skill" might be empathy, which is broader than the ability to listen.

Those are both great things and I think with confidence comes listening.  I don't want to ring my own bell but I have had three escorts wanted more than sex or fucking and I think it's what London said, it's confidence.   Most men in this hobby have none that's why they pay for sex.  At least a lot of them.   I don't want to generalize.  And piss of these guys that are old, fat dude that can't get laid.

I'm guessing many here have money....and most didn't make it because they lacked confidence.  

Many of the providers who post here say they don't mind a guy who is out of shape or whatever as long as they are treated with respect and the guy is intelligent, can carry on a conversation, and has a good sense of humor, etc.

I've seen guys waiting for the gate to open after keying the code. There's of course the old fat dude, but many are younger (may be 30's) and pretty decent. But of course I'm not sure they were there to see a provider. In any case, there's a reason hasty generalization is a fallacy. In my case, I like sex, lots of it, without the drama and the bitching you get from many civvies. I already have enough civvies to make my life complicated and enough money to see providers.

Let me also clarify, that cockiness is not the same thing as confidence. I am speaking more about men who don't need to have a woman constantly reassuring them they are ok, and can live without her not being up their ass all the time. Having a life of their own aside from living it based on how she treats them.

I agree with everything you wrote. That's why I invite my girls to join my lifestyle (except hobbying ;-)) rather than the opposite. What makes a man attractive to women is what makes him attractive to everybody including other men. I.e., the alpha male. Charisma, proactive leadership, power. Usually it's the guys who have the looks and the wits who have them. I mentioned evolutionary psychology in my other post below because in the end we're still conditioned by instinct to propagate our genes by selecting the fittest partner even if reproduction is not our goal in sex. Tell me I'm wrong.

but explaining the initial attraction is impossible. There are as varied reasons as there are different types of people. Once you get past that, I would say a sense of strength. Someone who will take care of her in a multitude of ways. Someone who is not clingy or needy. Furthermore, it's the little thoughtful things that mean the most. My SO goes to the store when I often forget an ingredient for dinner with a chuckle. Remembering a dish pattern I like and surprising me with it. But he's always the "man" of the house in a loving way.
