the ability to make appointments on short-term notice -- same day, within an hour sometimes.  I often dont know my schedule in advance and in particular dont know my mood in advance.  It is hard to schedule like that with indies.  They dont like do that, sometimes they are offended by it, and I can understand why it does not work for them. But for agencies it does

Bait and switch a couple of times and one who would literally do nothing.   Yeah, yeah, don't pay, don't reward bad behavior, etc. but some of us can't afford a scene.   This is obviously before I knew about TER or places where I could post and at least warn others.   Have I had a good time with all indys?  Shit, no, but I have never felt scammed.

TER makes no distinction between an agency girl and an indy in terms of getting listed and having reviews. Sorry.

I don't see how it's only the agency provider that could play the game of changing name or pics so I don't see that being a strong argument. Moreover, Agencies have as much incentive to maintain whatever their target level of quality might be so they would police the providers that are not up to that level.

I think I have a perception that most ladies who work with agencies are not in it for the long run; they are more likely to be in it for short term gain and therefore do not put as much effort into garnering long-term clientele. I think the few who do, such as Ava St. Claire, eventually become independent.

The agencies in London are really competing with each other, and so most (not all) tend to be very reputable. But I have heard that certain cities in the US are known for scam agencies, and that people are better off avoiding them in those areas. In which case, your agency's location may have affected the service. I get the feeling that some agencies are just some dude hawking a few women he's managed to manipulate into thinking they need him to make money

In this case no,  there would not be any reason for me to have been black balled by any agency.  As I mentioned earlier, I use 2 of his competitors, one which is has just as good a reputation.

I have not heard about men being black mailed, but I am sure it could happen.

Something about dealing with the "owner" that I like. Also where I'm from it seems like agencies are always on LE's radar.

First of all, a crappy review affects their biz just as much as an indie.  It also could piss off their boss.  And most agency girls want to go indie at some point and bad reviews will remain on their profile unless they re-invent themselves.
IMHO agencies are fine and the girls are pretty much the same.  The only downside is agencies are a bigger target for Uncle Leo and if they haven't destroyed guys' info, it could be uno problemo.

I think yes., they're just as hot.   But if you like her, you'll have to repeat right away a bunch of times, as many AGs have short tenures and they're gone.  If you're hoping to have a longer term ATF, chances are low.  

but in my 10 years, most/many agency gals I've met care about their reputation and reviews. It does seem that more indys are in it for a  
longer term and also have career/business goals outside of the hobby, currently or in the future.

any half way decent agency has more invested in both time and money building a rep than any independent lady. So yes, both the working girl AND the agency have a stake in keeping their good reputation intact.  

I'm falling in love with an agency girl.  She is giving me special treatment and so much more time.  She will tell the agency we are done when in fact, we haven't even started yet.

And everything she's told me about it just gives me more reasons to avoid agencies.  I want willing women who set their own hours, standards and limits.  In other words, they won't be run ragged and will be "all there" on our dates.

I want anyone I see to be 100% in charge of the decision on whether she will see me or not.  Number 2 reason is that agencies are a juicier target for LE.  

understand the business part of P4P. Things like screening, advertising, marketing, etc. need to be learned otherwise the new lady will not succeed on her own. True, some new providers are able to find an established lady who will "take the newbie under her wing and teach her the ropes.
