Life and society would certainly be different. Would it be better or Worse than the current "Clusterfuck" we all live in now?

It is like that today. Woman are trained to be fulltime providers => wife.

interesting concept, but I propose the "current clusterfuck" as you call it would become much worse before anything ever got any better. (at least for a complete generaton to pass) my reasoning is that I'm not sure this activity would benefit everyone, nor is everyone prepared to deal with the issues we currently face. there will always be those opponents with moral or ethical objections.  I suggest that it would invite mainstream participation, possibly become legal, and bring in a bunch of undesirables who don't agree with or follow the ethics, policy and procedure that already exist in our little community, no matter how inconsistent or irrational  that may be at present. although we all sometimes dream of a day that our choice of hobby/profession is socially acceptable, I prefer to keep it limited to those of us who are genuinely concerned with health, safety, discretion, etc. if prostitution/hobbying were to become legal, it would most undoubtedly be taxed and regulated by state, local, and federal governments. for all its faults, we as providers and hobbyists are better off policing our own community, for right now, given the state our society and culture are in.

best regards (and stepping down off my soap box) mr.man

LOL although I do understand mpduration's point, I think he's saying it more to be tart than to foster discussion. :)

I do see some women thinking of themselves as nothing but pussy-for-hire, and not as prostitutes. They are looking for a rich husband, they are withholding access to sexuality until (and sometimes long after) they receive lifetime commitments for economic support, and they are really offended if you say they're "prostitutes". LOL

I also see some women with VERY LITTLE worth selling, who are nevertheless still wives.

So, to answer the spirit of the question (although I do enjoy the aside provided by mpduration), I'd say, men would be broke, money would all but disappear, and "sensitivity" and the ability to extemporize romantic poetry would become much more highly valued commodities than they are today.

Kinda like in Eighteenth-century England ...

Actually, the most noticeable outcome would be.....that the species would die out!  The insistence on safe sex would preclude the normal outcomes, and that would be that.

I wonder, though, if we would die out smiling.....

If you think about the hobby, if you one of those types to sticks with the same provider. Your provider is like a 2nd wife. What you are paying for is her time. She uses the money to support herself and her family. Maybe the US needs to legalize marriage with multiple wifes so finicial support is a given.

Spend a few nites with a provider and watch her become attached to you. Both of you all try to hide the emotions but the attachment is a given.  The provider is glad to get you back. Sometimes, but not always they are hoping that you split with the wife you are married to.

So what do you do, see another provider. SO what happens is that feelings get hurt.

If the provider is really good, you as a hobbist gets your mind blown. You can't get the provider experience out of your mind. You go back like a addict. Before you know it your are justify spending 1000's of dollars per year. You started out with just the single hour or 2 hour appointment. You want more and more. You end up spending the whole night. Then you spend a few days and maybe a whole week.

Some providers love this because they get the money, but deep down they want someone to take care of them. People say sex and love are not the same, they are fooling themselves saying such things.

                Whodathunkit?
Tomorrow I'm setting out to find any o'l gal desperately looking for a husband. Then I'm going to see a couple of A-list
ATFs several times over. I figure in less than 2 months I'll be a VERY happy man.

If being a wife means being a fulltime provider, whoever established that equivalency must have forgotten to get the word to MY WIFE!

Remember the riddle - what's the one food that stops a woman from ever wanting sex again?  - answer, wedding cake - that's certainly what happened in my marriage, although it took about ten years to take effect.

I have always thought the only honest women were providers lets face it know matter who it is you have to do something to get sex from a woman even if she allready gets 1/2 of everything you have it's do more housework, be more romantic earn more money, spend more time with me etc all men have to pay one way or another every time maby one way and anouther that is a mans world.
