If a girl sets her profile to be viewable by members only, can't you just roll with that? Why do you gotta get all hacker and go around her privacy settings?  

Furthermore, this is the second "I'm brazenly creepy" post on here in the past 24 hours or so. I hope this isn't a new fad.

There's a huge difference.  Any kid with a $200 computer can learn steps and run scripts others made, but science guys usually need to read a whole lot more books and understand the theory behind the tech.  

And why do you assume just cuz a person knows some tech,  his MO would be to be a fkn creep to everyone? That's like saying "you're a locksmith so you must be breaking into homes illegally"    

There's also nothing not believable about what the OP said. Why do you think he's lying?

Okay, this doesn't apply for people already with p411 memberships (which is most likely a lot of you), but I want to gauge interest with the non-p411 members.  
   
 I found a way just earlier so that I can circumvent the "Information available to members only!" private p411 providers as well as be able to access the phone numbers, emails, and links to other reviews on their actual page.  
   
 I code for a living, but I've never coded a browser add-on. It would be a good learning experience, but I would want some support from the community before I take on the challenge so I know it would go to good use. Also, I should note that I would obfuscate the source code as I wouldn't want the holes to be immediately patched up.  
   
 What do you guys think? This would be a free add-on in either Firefox or Chrome.

now....the inherent creepiness aside (not to mention stupidity, disregard for others and, just generally all around bad citizenship)----isn't one of the secrets of successfully hacking a site NOT advertising on the INET that you're planning to hack a specific site; while soliciting feedback and community support in executing said hacking?

P411 pages, including all info, are viewable by the general public (non-members).

If a person follows a P411 link from somewhere outside of P411 (ie: TER), the page is open. This is a requirement of all review sites, so that links to P411 are allowed. Links to "members only" sites are not permitted.

Providers are aware of this, and there are notices all over the site letting the providers know that their pages are open to the public, everywhere other than on the P411 main site.

If someone goes to the P411 site and browses around as a non-member, some of the pertinent information is blocked as "Members Only". If you've figured out how to follow the page URLs from outside of P411, which takes you to an open page, this is NOT a "hack", but rather the way the site has always worked.
