Actually doing both has it's benefits as well

I know the whole point of seeing escorts is to line up a "sure thing", but how much of "the Hunt" do you feel you get from this endeavor, and what does that look like for you? Or is it not something you care about, hence your reason for being here? And do you satisfy your need for the chase elsewhere if that is something you like?

Can someone do a hooker translation for me on this one? I read it backwards and it still is not making much sense to me.

In part because it's not at all "like shooting fish in a barrel."  It's not easy doing your homework so you're not disappointed.  And it's energizing to find someone new who looks and seems great, and to then start checking reviews and back-channeling to make sure.  Then, when she opens the door and looks great, it's a huge rush.  Even more so when she starts to rock your world.
No, it's not the entire reason I'm here, however.  While I enjoy the hunt, it's the grand finale that's my reason for being here.  The hunt is fun but it's a means to an end.  And that's why about half the girls I see are repeats.

is the thrill of the hunt.

I suppose there is some truth to that, but it varies with the individual.

I would also suppose that men who are really into the hunting part would seek women out in venues like the gym, and other places where higher class gals congregate to meet "Mr. Right", rather than dating bars, and certainly not the hobby where the skill level required is on a par needed to shoot fish in a barrel, as he indicates.

On a  one to ten scale of the need to hunt, I'd put my need at about a 3 - there's a little bit of a lure to it, but not enough to get me out into the jungle.

I would offer the suggestion that there are no big game hunter on here either, and there is no real moral imperative that anyone think less of one's self for not being same.

with a wrench and it will make more sense.

It was exactly what I was looking for in my original post. Thanks! I am wondering how many men feel as you do. There would seem to be a thrill in seeking out a new prospect and being rewarded for your method of doing so. But I imagine that gents who are not as into the chase would be the type to repeat more often than not. There still has to be a thrill when you strike chemical gold with a new lady, even if you're only seeking someone new when someone you've known for a long time has retired.

Thanks for your response!

If a seasoned TER hobbyist believes  booking providers is  "The Hunt" he's got no game
or he's the guy who can find his  thrill canned hunting ,   inside a fence .

IMO we do this instead of hunting.

This is the furthest thing from hunting that I can think of, but that doesn't mean that I don't love it for what it is.

One of the beauties of the hobby is that when you actually do go hunting and you strike out, this is a very nice supermarket so you don't end up going hungry for the night.

Had a long date set up a couple of years ago with my fave on my birthday.  She wants to cook me a birthday dinner, but was missing a few ingredients when I got there.

So off to the Piggly Wiggly to get what she needed.  She even added a nice chocolate cake and some whipped cream.  That is messy...but it was fun.

I had my dinner...then ate my dessert.  Seems like it was a win-win all the way around.

I like the hunt, almost to a fault but for me, it is about finding someone I really click with and then seeing them regularly for as long as work leaves me in that locale. I have actually met one lady I enjoyed so much, I am planning to take a couple days of vacation to fly back and see. In truth, I really dislike trying new people out. I am looking for someone with the physical appearance I prefer and then discover they really understand the gfe side of things. When those align, I pretty much visit weekly until I am gone. I have a couple I still keep in regular contact with and no, I am not mistaking this for true emotions. We just discovered we had hobbies and interests in common beyond this one and keep one another updated on what is going on.
