Obviously, the decision to blur your face is understandable on many levels: other career, family, the fact that a lot of those 8 & 9's in looks were "generous" and what we can't see can't hurt your marketing.
But, let's say you decide to show your face on your site, in your ads. Other than PS's who can be found at the drop of a Google hat, what circumstances helped you make that decision?

Showing my face is like handing over incriminating evidence.

On the other hand I understand that people do want to see who they're going to meet. So I find a happy medium in only blurring/censoring the eyes. That way you can get a good idea of what I look like without without revealing my identity to anyone with a browser.

I got a phone call from my old boss...he had called me several times wanting me to come back to work for him...so I thought nothing of it...so after a little chit chat...he says to me...do You know what I am looking at right now...and I say No...lol...how would I know...he then says...I always wanted to fuck You..mmmm...yes I now know what You are looking at...I almost considered it...however I know his wife and kids...and it just did Not feel right...so needless to say...I removed half my photos and did a lot of cropping...as far as You stating some men being "generous" and what we can't see won't hurt...is really Rude...sorry...everyone is different...what is a 10 to one person may be a 5 to another...it's all based on Our Own Perception..and I am sure You understand ;)

And a mean hobbyist caused my family to find out about my private life almost 2 years ago, so I stopped showing my face pics.

I also find it discomforting that the first assumption about a provider who won't show their face is by reason of being less than attractive. But I'm not gonna start showing my face again just to prove that my ratings are deserved when I regularly ask some gents not to post a review because I don't wish to be that public. I think it's a bully way of doing things on the male part, and most of us will send a face pic via email, if asked politely. The problem there is that some of these guys have private groups on yahoo where they post these face pictures along with our phone number and physical ncall location, which is again, a total violation of our privacy and considered NOT DISCREET BEHAVIOR.

Honey, not to be rude, but it's guys who complain like you do who do that kind of thing. So are we to assume that because you are complaining about it that you are someone who would put our information out there to hurt us???

Assumptions go both ways my dear, please be more careful how you represent yourself to the ladies you desire to meet with on this board one day.

Marie

Wow, you serious???? I wouldn't want to work for someone that spoke to me and said " I always wanted to fuck You" Good For you!

For me it's about respect.

Regarding the topic:
I Blurr my pics/cut the face out- For the sake of my love ones. Family comes first, in my situation. I enjoy going out- with no worries if someone has seen my pics on adult sites...

I say it loud and clear-- My time here is for me to enjoy adult time and feel Like a woman out on dates- and it helps stress less. SO I can continue to provide for my family.

If men want to see my face---And choose Not to see me because they can't.. Oh well. It's ok.

I believe we meet those that- respect this in us-The reviews will say what we look like. Mine do! I know I would be making bank--If My face was out there. But, I'm stil Low volume anyways...

We meet the people we should. It's like a calling and it's all about timming.

Yes, some females don't show their faces---for what ever reason. Remember this>> Everyone is attracted to someone. We're not all the same!

If we're good and we trully enjoy what we do...It shows---your business will be Successful. No matter what.

If I get a gent that is respectful and nice over the phone- He might get a picture in his email box. :o)
I enjoy being unpredictable some times...

Best of Luck Ladies!

I would always ask myslef---how are they "discrete" when their faces are all out there? So, I stop asking myself- and worried about my men being happy!

If a former coworker called me and said that they thought I was hot and wanted to fuck me, I'd be sealing the deal before I was off the phone call.  Oh, you're gonna give me money too?  Sa-WEEET.

On a side note, I've known several ladies that told their family members how they earned a living.  In most of the cases I've heard of (unscientific sample to be sure), it turned out well, and the decrease in stress was huge.

What goes around...you know? My point that everyone seems to have a lock on is pretty well-voiced here in discussions about what many view are inflated reviews. I've actually on occasion not posted reviews about well-reviewed ladies because my experience wasn't consistent with the vast majority of reviews and mama always told me, if you can't say something nice, well, you know the rest. And, if you read my reviews, I have zero hesitancy praising.
I have a huge respect for the majority of ladies here and wouldn't want a one-off experience to hurt anyone's business.

Sooooooooooo, back to the question. We have a lot echoing why someone wouldn't show their face. How about some feedback on those that choose to?

I absolutely understand some ladies' reluctance to show their face.  Having said that, I will tell you that I'm a total face man.  The body doesn't have to be perfect and some of the other qualities can be lacking but I'm a total face man and have never seen, nor will I see a lady who's face I haven't seen and enjoyed.  But...that's just me.

Glad it worked out well for them.  It isn't always the case.  It's too late to cover your face and seek discretion after you've been disowned.

If there was no family to care about, and a provider was sure there never would be a family to care about, and no career outside the hobby to ruin, then showing a face (or tell-tale markings) might be safe.

Can't imagine that many crystal balls work weel enough for the risk.  I'd expect a few lost sessions is a small price to pay for the added safety and discretion.

just keep in mind...it takes two to Tango...so what are You saying...a well reviewed provider has a lot of guys lying and You are the only one saying You didn't have a good time...so You don't want to ruin her business...maybe You should think about looking in the mirror...how can it be Everyone else...lol...I don't and I won't fake it...however I Will make sure You have a good time...but if I am having a good time...I Will make sure You have an Awesome time...get my drift ;)

hobbyists looking for a specific type of experience were required to post an ad stating all the things they're looking for along with a photo of themselves along with a phone number MUCH like providers post on their ads.

all questions would be answered in a heartbeat and this would never be a topic again lol

im sort of new but i can imagine this comes up a lot =)

I figure I should care about showing my face but I dunno I just....never thought to blur my face. I mean I see plenty of people get 8's and 9's confuse me given their face or w/e but um I dunno, I think if they see everything lol they um can't be disappointed or surprised when they see me and aside from how they think i'll do I think the other part of them wanting to come to me is how I look..including my face.

My experience has been that it's almost always a betrayal by a male friend that's been "wronged".  His anger manifests itself in the form of telling her parents, fighting for custody, etc.

I'm sure pictures add to the problem, but it's not been the cause in the cases I've heard about.

I blur my face and crop my pics about of respect for my family.I'm confident with my looks and my reviews state that.I have heard of alot of ladies photos being stolen and used by others and I am not willing to have a full face picture of me that could be used on the internet or used by whomever.Ladies that have their faces shown that is the decision they are obviously comfortable with.

Well first I am a full time student at a well known 4 year university and will be graduating Magna Cum Laude this Summer. A great accomplishment indeed. I have been accepted into grad programs and am receiving entry job offers, so I already know that I have a prosperous future in a respectable civilian position ahead of me. So of course, having my face on a site of this nature would be very detrimental to my true endeavors in life and has the potential to ruin my reputation, my family, and my ties within my community. Plus my family is very conservative and religious and if they ever found out, I am positive that I would be disowned. I am nothing more than a smart college girl who needed a flexible part time job to help pay for inevitable fees that I have incurred as a student (ie dorms, meal plans, textbooks, loans etc.) and I'm cute so I thought hey why not. It has proved to work out very well for me, and I will finish paying off my loans within 6 months of my graduation. I feel why should I sacrifice my future and everything dear to me for a few extra clients? So don't think that we are blurring our faces because we are not attractive. Many times, that is not the case at all. I know the question didn't ask for a life synopsis, lol sorry but those are the reasons I need to be super discreet, my near future is not in adult entertainment.
