I've seen a lot of threads about ladies pricing.  Most recently there was a discussion about Anne Maries (the Educated Escort) pricing on the San Diego board.  That has compelled me to express a few thoughts.

Guys (and Gals LOL), we set the pricing.  The ladies don't.  Remember, this is a business.  As long as a lady has sufficient clients to make her business worthwhile, she can (and should) charge whatever rate she feels happy with.  Some ladies wish to be more exclusive than others.  Hence, sometimes a higher rate.

But again, it's her business.  If she can get that rate and is successful, more power to her.  It's called supply and demand.  No different than anything else.  We have the choice.  We can pay the rate or go somewhere else.  It's as simple as that.  Believe me, if a lady is not making a what she needs to make, she either has to drop rates, provide better service, or get out.  As long as she has sufficient clietiele, why should she change her rates?  Would you?

Obviously, there are times when you wish you could see the lady, but for whatever reason you do not have the funds.  That's life.  Sometimes, as the saying goes, "Life is a bitch"!.  Don't put down a lady because of her rates.  This is her business and  her livelyhood.  It isn't a very long career as most ladies will tell you.  

Anne Marie has a very exclusive rate (12K a day, two day minimum).  Obviously, she has a very select clientiele.  That is how she chooses to run her business.  She must be doing something right, cuz she isn't dropping the rate.  Like anything, there is a market for that rate and she is tapping into it.  While I don't believe I will ever be meeting her, I don't begrudge her.  I applaud her.  She obviously has some very good business and marketing sense.  The concept "is she worth 24K?" is superfulous.  It isn't a question of worth.  It is a question of supply and demand.  Hell, you could ask that question of any escort.  It is basically what anyone of us is willing to pay.  And obviously, there are still some guys out there that will can pay that kind of rate.

The successful ladies will always be successful.  In an up economy or a down economy.  They won't need to change rates.  I am friends with some very succesful escorts.  Believe me, they are just as busy as ever.  Because along with supply and demand, it's about service.  The successful ladies know what it takes to get to a man's heart.  To make a man feel like a man.  If only for a short time.  It's unique and what makes them so successful in my opinion.

I'm like any other guy.  We all wish at one or another that a lady had cheaper rates.  But, this is not a cheap "hobby".  To think otherwise is foolish.
